All of the Carpet/Linoleum Floors (boards and nails coming through). Most of door & window casing got gaps. Walls are uneven. The white paint is uneven, Strange holes in walls in top of Den and bottom of Dining RM. Cubby in Laundry RM. not done. Nor is Sm. Closet in Den. Carpet Strip have major staples in it; through out the place. Many staples through out the house on walls. The Stove & Refrigerator damaged too. I'm paying over 81,911 for it I really did expect more. Didn't cost anything for water or Electric; They have it down for 1,500 . Only cost 1,599 for shed; not 1,700. Put 8,100 down on it then another 100.00 and something. Also, It was in an accident on way over to Park. I really did love the place All I want is a NEW one. .Desired SettlementI want a new Home. Same front porch/Same back porches. Same as I have in writing with you. I want you to take responsibly to move me out and back in. And to put my belongings up some place where they wont be destroyed, by you or anyone else. Put me up in a Hotel; that you pay for. You had 1,500 down for water & electric didn't cost anything. Only cost you 1599 for shed not 1,700. Business Response Dinkins Home Center has been in business almost 70 years and we take any complaint very seriously. We performed a walk through on this house dated 8-26-15 to address all service items that we repaired to make sure they were completely happy. They signed our form which I can attach if needed that her warranty items had been repaired satisfactory and they took any future cosmetic repairs as their responsibility. Her complaints on electric, water, outbuilding etc. are not correct. I have copies of all bills showing expenses and they actually over spent which we did not charge to them. I will go above and beyond to make another attempt to satisfy this customer. Again Dinkins is very serious about our service record. Consumer Response The Dinkins Home Center people were out here today 9/14/2015. I did show them the things that were wrong with the home. Something's they said they could fix; some they said they cant. I did say that the man who was here last time who helped me with my water problem was very good at what he did. He also, said a lot of things couldn't be fixed to my likening; But he would do the best he could to make me happy. Dinkins did say would try to do what ever it takes to make me HAPPY... I don't know if they are going to get my dream house as PERFACT as I would like it to be; But I am willing to Try & to See what they can do for me at this time... Final Consumer Response I have yet to here anything from them; I have called them,they have told me they have a work Sheet made up. Now I found on my Roof a few shingles missing about 2 weeks ago. What do I do? I asked them to at least fix the floor , before the Holidays. And nothing... I am having my faming down for Christmas.. If they are not going to keep their word ... I want everything that I said before. I want MY DREAM House Please... This has been since Aug. Please help me out. Final Business Response If you read Mrs. [redacted]'s response you can tell we are trying to satisfy her in anyway we can even if it is not a covered warranty item such as her roof. Out of thousands and thousands of satisfied customers that we have had over the 70 year history, every once in awhile you will get a customer who is unreasonable. We appreciate Mrs. [redacted]'s business very much and we will continue to service her home under her covered warranty.
