Sorry this is late in response to Case # ***: *** *** but we have been working with *** trying to settle the complaint
*** is saying we made holes in four of her husband's shirts all in the same area but the real cause is
his elbow has made the holesThe fabric is very weak and worn in the whole elbow area all on the left sleeve
When asking for invoice *** sent amount for shirts total of $purchased March 21, Checking inside shirts, were purchased 09/23/and were purchased 03/15/These shirts are 3&years old and life expectancy on our textile chart is yearsThey have lost all replacement
cost because of age
We would like to give some compensation to *** but are having trouble agreeing on an amount since there is no value leftWe will issue $cash or $in Dry Cleaning or laundryAny questions call Jean ***

We had our clothing person look at the shirts and they are not worn outThe tear is the same in each shirt and not on the elbow and happened on the same drycleaning tripThese are custom shirts and the life expectancy on these is years plus per our clothierI am asking for $cash for all shirts that are ruinedI am not satisfied with a dry cleaning credit as I will not be bringing any further clothes hereIt will cost me more than $now to replace these shirts so $is more than fair

I went into Dinsmore Cleaners on October 1st to pick up my shirts as I need to send them to my attorney to look at themThe owner would not release them to meShe said they are not my property any longerThese shirts are in fact my shirts, just because I filled a claim against them for ruining them does not mean they get to keep themI have an pick up slip from her for 9/that these would be available to meI frankly do not want to keep these shirts in her position as I do not trust this business and need these shirts back for further investigation

Spoke to *** on Friday October and said she could pick up her shirts on Monday October after they were examinedIt has been determined that the shirts have outlasted their life expectancy of two yearsThe holes in the elbows are caused from wear*** said the shirts were only one year old but the labels inside the shirts showed they were purchased in and
The shirts can be picked up anytime by ***We have offered $cash or $used for future Dry Cleaning or shirt laundering hoping this will be some compensation
