Direct Air Conditioning provided the best customer service experience I have yet to receive in South FloridaNot only was their contractor knowledgeable, but he could not have been more friendly/helpfulIf anyone in the area is in need of service, I highly recommend *** *** with Dierct Air Conditioning

I am the customer that wrote a negative review about this company earlier stating that I believed they were trying to get me to buy a new compressor when it was not really broken and I had another company come by and fix it. Since then I have spoken to the owner, [redacted], and would like to amend my review. After speaking about the work the tech [redacted] did, we agreed that nothing was done on purpose to try to rip us off but that [redacted] should have handled the situation differently.

Instead of telling me that I had to buy a new compressor, and leaving my to try to turn the unit on later after giving time to cool off, [redacted] should have offered to come by later to fix it. The owner and I agreed that the way [redacted] handled the situation could very easily give me the impression he was more interested in selling me a new compressor than fixing the one I have.

[redacted] assured me that he works hard to build and maintain relationships with his clients and that if he ever found out one of his people was trying to rip off a client the tech would be fired. I believe him and am updating my review. Also, [redacted] offered me a credit for the time and aggravasion this caused me and my family. I would use these guys again in the future.

My experience with Direct Air, Boynton Beach Office, Installers and Manager was superb. They were all (4) extremely friendly and professional. If I ever need any hvac work done again there will be no doubt that I will be requesting their services.
Needed them for emergency service on July 4th, and they promptly appeared. Purchased a new unit thereafter and am very pleased with it's performance.

Direct AIr Conditioning replaced my AC outdoor unit as well as the indoor air handler and t-stat.
I'm pleased with the equipment and cost. Technicians were professional and cleaned up after job was completed. Would recommend and use them again.

I had a routine service call to check my AC system and its operations on April 14, 2015. I was assured that the system was running well and I had no leaks. On April 28th I noticed my wood floor was becoming soaked. I contacted my contractor and after pulling up the flooring it was discovered the AC drain pipe was leaking. The dry wall was removed to expose the drain and look for any holes. It was discovered the drain pipe was clogged with algae and backed up water was leaking from the drain at a connection point. This surprised me since Direct AC had just serviced the unit and should have checked the drain pipe. I called on May 4th and was told to call a plumber because they do not have the equipment to clear a clogged drain. My Contractor simply hooked up the drain to vacuum and the clogged was cleared immediately. Clearly Direct AC did not hook up my drain to suction when they "serviced" the unit and wasted my money.

Had all ducts cleaned in my home. Technicians were prompt and professional.
House was left clean and tidy. I would use this Company again.

Suffer the brutal South Florida winter with no cold AC? No way! I called Direct Air and they came the same day. They replaced the flux capacitor...Pedro V. and Lazaro properly explained to me that the condenser was at fault. A full 2 day test made sure that the part being replaced was the correct one. Kudos for their prompt and courteous service - can't wait for my air to hit 88 mph.

I requested a quote to replace my complete unit and ducts and chose the Dave Lennox Signature Series XL 25 unit which was quoted by Supervisor Will Gomez. The compressor and air handler were installed in one day by Luis and Johnathan and the duct work by Julian, Rolando and Roony. the job was completed ahead of schedule and done professionally. I'm very pleased with the unit but more impressed with the installers manners and knowledge of their trade. I highly recommend this company for all you A/C needs.

On Sunday our AC unit was leaking water. We called Direct Air Conditioning and they sent repairman, [redacted], over within an hour. He tells us that he can do band aid fix by cleaning the line, but to properly fix issue he needs to clean coils and to do that he would come back Monday. We agree to clean coils and negotiate a price of $515 ($95 for visit + $420 for coil cleaning). Originally he was going to charge us $95 + $420 + $170 (for cleaning line), but agreed to knock out charge for cleaning line if we paid everything up front.

He comes back Monday and does all the coil work. Then, at the end, when we're sitting down to do the paperwork, he casually says, "Oh your compressor is not working. I'm going to try to fix it but I don't know if I can." He explains why it wasn't working; says the unit is cheap; says that this should never happen when wervicing and AC unit. He's quick to get me a quote for fixing the compressor: $850 for labor since his office tells hom compressor is under warranty.

We get him out of there. Call another company, [redacted] they come over and had compressor working in 5 min. They said one of the lines was closed, they openned it back up.

Did I mention that throughout this entire thing the repairman, [redacted], sees that I have a 5 month old baby at home. I really hate to assume the worst but best case senario is that [redacted] just doesn't know what he's doing and didn't know how to fix compressor. Worst case senario is he and the company wanted to hit us up for $850 to fix a compressor that was never broken. Either way the company gets F marks.
