This letter is in response to a complaint that was recently filed with your office. The complainant, Ms*** ***, purchased and advertisement through Direct Advertising Consultants on a month program which is to be direct-mailed to homeowners in Cuba, Missouri.This direct-mail
program features numerous advertisters on the advertisers. The production time-frame can vary depending on how quickly each individual advertiser responds to the various stages of production, including submittal of artwork and amount of time taken to send back their art proofs or indicate changes needed for their advertisement, at which stage secondary proofs are sent for approval. In addition, we honor the months of exposure that we stipulate on the contract have been fulfilled before producing the next edition so that the advertiser receives the maximum exposure available for their advertisement.The product in which Ms*** purchased advertising has processed to the imprinting stage and is on-track for an early winter publication and distribution.While we regret that Ms*** is not 100% satisfied with the program in which she placed the advertisement, we do not feel that we are any way failing to honor the stipulations set forth on the contract which she signed, therefore we must decline her request for a refund of the amount she paid for the advertisement
