My house is less than 2 years old and I have had issues with my AC unit for the past 6-8 months. It keeps shutting off and when the company comes to "fix" the issue, they charge me for "labor" and the problem goes away for only a month or two. This is unacceptable for a new unit. My warranty for the construction is over, however, I still have issues with the AC that remain unresolved. I live in a very dry, hot part of the island and my dogs as well as family now have to suffer in the heat of the summer every day these issues are not rectified.
Direct Air did not purchase nor install the system, we only service the unit. Gentry Homes is the builder which gives homeowners 2 free services within their 1st year of purchase.
It is recommended to service at least every 6mos and flush the condensate drain line quarterly. Certain parts is covered up to 10yrs, NEVER the labor. Labor to come out starts at $130+tax
History:
4/20/18 1st free service (Billed to Gentry)
7/17/18 T/C, float switch tripped - vacuum drain line (Gilled to Gentry)
9/17/18 T/C, float switch cutt off - vacuum drain line. Recommend service every 6mos and H.O. flush drain line every 2-3 mos. Missed 2nd (Billed to Gentry)
4/8/19 T/C, found A/C need service and evaporator coil leaking.
4/9/19 Repair (Billed to Gentry and 1 time labor warranty)

I am rejecting this response because: The business has now said they will not send anyone or schedule a repair because of my Revdex.com filing. Exactly 1 month after the repair the unit stopped working. I’m not an AC tech, but something stopping 1 month later doesn’t seem right. All I am asking is that my AC get fixed. I will take up the Labor costs with the builder.

I would like to consider this complaint resolved. The business has agreed to schedule an appointment to fix my issue. Please let me know if there is anything further I must do to recind/cancel this complaint. Mahalo.
Big Mahalo Direct Air Conditioning! We've been a regular customer from Ewa Gentry, Ewa Beach Hi since 2003 and Direct A/C has always performed excellent service for us. When called upon for service with regard to regular maintenance or emergency service, they come around as scheduled and with excellent outcome of the service provided. Recently our antiquated central AC broke down due to age and Direct A/C fairly recommended a new good more efficient system; the new system replacement cost was reasonable and was ordered and installed within a short time. Kudos to those Direct A/C staffs who installed the unit; the team were highly organized which led to the excellent job completion.
