Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:Please find the following as my analysis of AutoProved’s response to my initial complaint that is dated 11/27/As you will see, there are problems with their response in almost every line.Thank you,*** ***- During my first visit, l was not “very pleased with the vehicle and requested [they] fix a few things.” I took the vehicle to a mechanic to have it looked overThe mechanic found several things that in his assessment were “easy to find for any mechanic.” When I returned to AutoProved with the mechanic’s report, Jason R** stated to me that they “did not look at the car at all because it looked good to them” therefore there was no “original repair.” Furthermore, the brakes that their mechanic failed to repair properly (because of incompetence or to avoid cost)did not need “minor brake work.” In total, both front brakes needed significant work doneIn fact, the mechanic I took the car to said that they would not let the vehicle pass a state inspection- Had I not taken the vehicle to a mechanic, AutoProved would have sold me a vehicle that would not pass state inspection and had failing brakes because they did not perform an examination of the vehicle like they advertise.- The letter states that they have a “good relationship with customers.” However, customer reviews show complaints have been made to the Revdex.com and the PA Attomey General’s of?ce. - After their mechanic had made repairs, I brought up the fact that the brakes still did not feel right even after their mechanic “fixed everything.” Jason R** stated it was because brakes feel different in different vehicles.- I don’t know where “*** *** in Quakertown” comes fromThe letter states that they record every contactHowever, I never did any business or contacted *** *** in Quakertown.- Jason R** did not offer me a loaner vehicleIn fact, he became agitated and rushed me off the phone while I was trying to resolve the issue of the brakes still not feeling rightHe basically huon me.- I did not “set an appointment.” They never “followed up” with me about an appointmentI never “refused to come.”- I never demanded they pay for repairs done by another mechanicWhile I was trying to get information from Jason R** about the needed repairs (that they failed to find because they admittedly did not inspect the vehicle as advertised) I asked about how the warranty covers costs- The letter states that it takes days or weeks to update a websiteI first viewed their website in mid- October, I had been shopping for a vehicle since SeptemberAs of today, November 29, 2017, AutoProved is still advertising their point vehicle inspection and lifetime powetrain warrantyNeither of which they actually offer.- They did not tell me about the lifetime warranty they no longer offered until I was putting a deposit down on the car pending the repairs they madeThey also said they could not sell me one of their warranties unless I signed for it before I left their premises.- The person who signed the letter was never present at my visits nor was he visible to customers.- The work order attached to the letter is from their mechanicRepeatedly, Jason R** called them “their own mechanic” and stated that they could make repairs for low cost to themThe work order does not reflect any of the more severe break repairs that were needed that were easily found by another mechanic.- AutoProved had their FIRST chance to fix the brakes IF they had completed the point inspection as advertisedThey had a SECOND chance to fix them when they took the car to their mechanicWhy would a consumer return to a business for a third time to address the same issue that the business lied about (advertising) and could not fix either because of incompetence or to avoid incurring costs? The incompetent and misleading business (AutoProved) should reimburse the consumer for the costs of the repairs that were identified and done correctly upon the first inspection at a better business.- Their response is filled with misrepresentations, mistruths, lies and inaccurate informationIt is clear that AutoProved falsely advertised the vehicle inspection and lifetime warranty.and thank you for your follow-up. Regards,*** ***

I think this customer sent this to the wrong dealership.  We do not sell 2006 cars.

November 27, 2017To whomever it may concern,[redacted] of Phoenixville purchased a 2006 [redacted] VIN [redacted] on11/7/17. During [redacted]’s first initial visit to see the vehicle he...

was very pleased with the vehicle but requested we fixed a few things before he took delivery of the vehicle. Agreeing to fix the repairs (ATTATCHED Invoice # [redacted]) along with our original repair. We repaired the vehicle to what was agreed, minor brake work. On 11/10/17 (NOT 11/7/17 as stated by the customer - WE RECORD EVERY PHONE CALL SO WE HAVE COMPLETE RECORDS) [redacted] gave us call in regards to issues [redacted]
[redacted] in Quakertown had pointed out that still had not been fixed. Since we have a wonderful relationship with our customers and stand by our vehicles we were upset about the findings and requested [redacted]
[redacted] bring the vehicle back along with the Repair Order from [redacted] so we may address the issues we may have missed. We offered [redacted] a loaner vehicle of higher value than the vehicle he purchased until we resolved the issue and he was satisfied. He was happy with this arrangements and set up an appointment. [redacted] never showed. We followed up with him in which he then changed his mind and refused to come. We made it clear to him we are more than happy to fix any issues addressed we had overseen or may not have seen due to process of elimination but we would need possession of the vehicle to fix them. Again he refused and demanded we pay what it would cost [redacted] wanted to charge him for the repairs he still had no done with either us or them. We at AutoPROVED have sold thousands of cars and have only handful of issues which we have happily resolved. This case is no different. If [redacted] wanted his repairs another service shop found fixed we would need the vehicle to fix the issues. As for the lifetime warranty we no longer offer this coverage and in a real world websites take days sometimes weeks for our third party vendor to update changes.[redacted] knew what coverage he was getting as he signed the documents that have them stated. We hope this clears the air.Sincerely,Ali N.President
