Poor I would not do business with this company We contacted Direct Energy Solar because a colleague recommended them We set a time for them to visit for an initial review They were to provide details based on our location, satellite photos, power use we provided, etc We took time off from work to meet the representative who did not arrive and did not call We called the company and were told to call the representative ourselves (rather than the company reaching their employee) When we called, the number provided was the wrong person minutes after the meeting time, the correct representative called to say condescendingly "don't worry, I checked my records and it was not your fault" (he had the time wrong, but didn't even apologize) Nor did he say he would be happy to reschedule He pulled up a record and told us that our roof was not well suited for solar panels We had already had this conversation with the representative who scheduled the visit the roof was no good but we have space on the lot that could be used if some trees were removed That was part of the original plan but the person who was supposed to advise us did not have that information nor did he have the capacity to make that recommendation himself In conclusion, the representative did not arrive, did not take ownership of the mistake, was rude and condescending, and was not able to perform the duties needed This may have been one ninny reflecting horribly on a terrific company or it may be one ninny representing a ninny of a company Either way, they will not get our business

Excellentstars!!! SALES- out of bids, the best valueSalesman pleasant, helpfulHe included electrical panel upgrade, arranged mosame as cash financing for the rebate portion, and took time to answer all my questionsINSTALLATION- Great communication with project lead who made sure he was present for all city inspections, handled all the city rebate red tape, and promptly addressed all issuesInstallation crew workmanship was top notch (Anaheim inspector commented to me that he was very impressed by the high quality of the installationIt was their first residential installation in this city) System was up and running a full month before projected datePERFORMANCE- Has been flawless since day 1..I love the " enlighten manager" monitor Because of the panels, I have not had an electric bill for monthsWith fed and city rebates I paid $13,for a $30,system, which in my case, I have calculated a year payback for the price of the systemAmazing!!! Thank you

Of the six solar companies I researched and got bids from, Direct Energy Solar was the best! They did everything they promised and my system is working perfectly I now pay only the basic service charge of $per month for my home's electricity I highly recommend them

The BEST Solar Energy Company I have ever worked with or spoken to for information about Solar Energy and the benefits for me as a customer!
I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants the most outstanding service and continued support after installation!
Their TEAM is one of the most professional and well trained individuals I have ever come across in my search for the right people to handle my solar energy concerns
I would give them the HIGEST rating possible

I work in the service industry and our company has a great set up and protocol. After my experience with Direct Energy and their representative, Mike I have changed several aspects of my day to day operation to mirror their operation.

From the sales meeting and then installation crew everyone did a great job, in temperatures in the low 20's the crew worked all day and was thoughtful and left the property in the same condition as when they arrived.

If you are looking for a stand up company to handle your property and make your priorities their priorities I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

So far so good. Everything they said would happen, did. Reports show that the panels are performing exactly as expected. Customer service has been excellent. Good planning, execution, and follow-up.

I had a very positive experience with Direct Energy Solar. The estimated price was correct and the service was very good. There was one short detail on the installation of "critter guards" to keep squirrels form the wires. Now I am not paying electric bills.

Made an appointment to get a quote salesman never showed called the next day apologizing decided to give them another chance made another appointment never showed again if this is the way they treat their customers before you give them money how are they going to treat you after and need warranty work

We recently installed solar on our home. From start to finish we had a great experience. Our salesman was extremely knowledgeable and incredibly responsive to our questions. The install process was painless. We've had solar for 3 months now and the first two months our electric bill was zero and this month it was only about twenty dollars. Going solar with Direct Energy has been a wonderful experience. This system will pay for itself in no time.

I reviewed proposals from several installers before choosing to go with Direct Energy Solar. I was pleased with the sales process and the consultative approach relative to a few of the other companies I spoke with.

Overall, happy with the process and would recommend Direct Energy.

Our Sales and Installation processes was wonderful and possibly best-in-class. The salesman, Steve S[redacted], gave us plenty of time and helped educate us on the whole solar process. He was fantasic and the primary reason we selected Direct Energy over the other companies with which we talked. The installation team was fantastic. They had some issues with local building inspection and electical inspecton requirements and smoothly cleared these issues quickly. John D[redacted] was a great installation project lead,

As I write this on December 26, 2016, we still have not seen a service person or even had a service date scheduled. I have called them a number of times and still do not have any service date. This is ridiculous. My gut feel is that the company focus is on installations since that is where the cash flow comes from. They have insufficient resources dedicated to service and repair.
BE WARNED.. .YES ,THEY SUPPLY SERVICE AS THEY STATE (I PRESUME). I AM JUST NOT SURE WHEN THE SERVICE MIGHT ACTUALLY HAPP{EN. I will be lucky to get any service for a non-functioning system in the SAME YEAR that I requested it. BAD, BAD, BAD. This is pathetic. I feel that they are victims of their own sales and installation success. THEY CANNOT KEEP UP WITH SERVICE REQUESTS. My DIRECY ENERGY Solar System has produced ZERO Energy since the middle of November, a period of 6 weeks,.

Poor I would not do business with this company.

We contacted Direct Energy Solar because a colleague recommended them. We set a time for them to visit for an initial review. They were to provide details based on our location, satellite photos, power use we provided, etc. We took time off from work to meet the representative who did not arrive and did not call. We called the company and were told to call the representative ourselves (rather than the company reaching their employee). When we called, the number provided was the wrong person. 90 minutes after the meeting time, the correct representative called to say condescendingly "don't worry, I checked my records and it was not your fault" (he had the time wrong, but didn't even apologize). Nor did he say he would be happy to reschedule. He pulled up a record and told us that our roof was not well suited for solar panels. We had already had this conversation with the representative who scheduled the visit the roof was no good but we have space on the lot that could be used if some trees were removed. That was part of the original plan but the person who was supposed to advise us did not have that information nor did he have the capacity to make that recommendation himself.

In conclusion, the representative did not arrive, did not take ownership of the mistake, was rude and condescending, and was not able to perform the duties needed. This may have been one ninny reflecting horribly on a terrific company or it may be one ninny representing a ninny of a company. Either way, they will not get our business.
