February 2, 2016 Revdex.com TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: We received the complaint from [redacted] with Pakmail located at [redacted], Austin, TX 78703. Mr. [redacted] alleges we came to Pakmail without prior authorization. It is Safequip company practice to call our existing accounts to set up...

inspections. On Nov 2, 2015, [redacted] our sales rep called Pak Mail. She introduced herself as a representative of Safequip. [redacted] spoke with [redacted] an employee at Pakmail. I have attached a screen shot of Pak Mail account in our database to show notes on what date and time notes were made when [redacted] made contact with [redacted] at Pak Mail. [redacted] gave us the Ok to take care of their annual inspection at our convenience. Mr. [redacted] claims [redacted] did not have the authority to ok us coming out to take care of the extinguisher inspection. This appears to be an internal problem of communication that exists between [redacted] and Mr. Juaristi. Mr. [redacted] should prohibit his employees from making decisions which he clearly feels he should have made. We did not show up without prior approval as claimed in his complaint. Safequip has acted with all proper procedures and in good faith to avoid Mr. [redacted] penalties and violations of Fire Marshal Codes. This annual inspection is required by both City of Austin as well as the Texas Fire Marshal. As a former owner of a similar store, my employees knew what they were and were not allowed to authorize. Furthermore, in the industry that he is in there is an elevated fire risk due to the materials that a store like this stores in its facilities which makes these inspections even more important. And as the Office Manager of Safequip, the employees here know what they are and are not allowed to authorize. Safequip technician showed up on December 1St at Pak Mail to perform the inspection and found that extinguisher needed the required 12 year service per NFPA Codes. The price of the inspection is $7.50, the 6 year maintenance & recharge is $24.50 plus the low pressure hydrostatic test which makes a 12 year service is $12.50. All customers receive the $45 trip charge. We have many happy customers and never just show up without prior approval. In 2013 we were authorized by Lewis to make an onsite visit. Prior to January 14, 2016 we did not have any notes on the customer file about them bringing them in either of our systems (database or accounting systems). We have many customers that we call annually to give reminder calls to bring their extinguishers to Safequip. This situation is not Safequip's responsibility and respectfully request Mr. [redacted] to retract his complaint at the Revdex.com. [redacted]Office ManagerSafequip Safety and Fire Equipment
