Good service, polite technician I was happy with the work that was done on my air conditioner

I AM WRITING TO COMMEND DIRECT HEATING AND COOLING, SPECIFICALLY JOEY MMRMHAS WORKED WITH ME OVER TIME WITH MY AIR CONDITIONING NEEDS AND HAS BEEN THE BEST TECHNICIAN I HAVE EVER MET! HE IS KNOWLEDGEABLE, CONSCIENTIOUS, CARING AND GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND TO SEE TO IT THAT EVERY NEED IS MET AND THE JOB IS HANDLED WITH EXCELLENCEI WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM FOR HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING NEEDS

Had this company for several years Every time they show up we "need" something else to be installed or upgraded One service person was so stupid he told us our air conditioner was not sufficient for our household needs Except that they had installed it the year before Got tired of the standing joke that whenever they showed up we needed new ducts, duct cleaning, new ultraviolet bulbs, or a new air conditioner We told them we did not want to use their services again

Horrible company. I hired them years ago to repair my ac unit. My condenser unit kept freezing up. I was talked into getting their maintenance plan so I would avoid excessive repair costs. I took the bait. The tech hosed off the ice off the condenser and turned on my unit. It worked and my house was cooling for about 2 hours. It iced back up again and stopped working. I called the next day and he did the same thing and said he didn't get it all. It stopped in the middle of the night frozen again. I called the next day which was a weekend and complained, he then tried to sell me a new system. He hosed it off and told me to do the same until I replace it. I called another ac company who looked at the ice and immediately replaced a blown switch. Direct heating charged me 289.00 for their maintenance plan but obviously had no knowledge of ac repair. The ac company I called does not sell units only repair them. He charged $85 total and took about 5 minutes. He warned me not to use them because they prey on the elderly and unknowing people. I called for a refund and was told I used 3 service calls and one weekend call at a higher cost thus I would need to pay them (I don't remember the amount). I told them they didn't know how to fix the problem. They told me I declined purchasing a new unit which would have fixed the problem. Huh??? I got no refund but will never use them again. I tell everyone about them. They're horrible!!

I've been using Direct heating and cooling for about five years now and while I've been with them I've had a few issues with my air conditioning and every time they come whatever issues are happening they get taken care of diligently and efficiently to my satisfaction always thank you direct and Diango for your comment and professionalism always been there when need you Marry Christmas to all direct personel.happy new year's Godless

We had Direct Heating and Cooling install a new A/C yesterday! The techs worked to solve all issues and the quality of their work was outstanding! They cleaned up after the system was up and running, checked and rechecked both outside and inside units. Determined the compressor and air handler were functioning properly, checked the compressor temp, output, amps draw, head pressure, and condensation pump was all functioning. I would recommend them for quality of work, on time, and prompt service! The cost of the new system was in line with all other company's in this area and we are satisfied with their work ethic! I actually had to require them to take breaks due to the heat and humidity. This is a company that lives up to their promise of "good quality service!" [redacted]

We are approached by HVAC companies offering "specials" on preventative cleanings and maintenance abnormally frequently in Florida (during some weeks we might receive three or four calls from various companies!), so I engaged this one -- as I would have any such company -- with some suspicion.

I want to report that my initial experience with this company was thoroughly positive. The two servicemen were friendly and patient as I inquired into what they were looking for at every stage. They were careful to explain fees in advance. They were respectful (one of them swore like a sailor, but it kind of suited him) and gave every indication of being competent. I needed new filters and the prices they quoted were comparable with anything I could find on the internet (though I ended up having mine made to order rather than going with the brand name filter). When I experienced leaking around the air conditioning units after a few weeks, I called the company and a serviceman was promptly dispatched. He immediately diagnosed the problem (it turned out that my water heater rusted through, so it wasn't a problem with the A/C at all) and gave me helpful advice about having the unit replaced (which Direct does not do). I have a 2-yr preventative maintenance agreement with the company, so it's too early to tell if it will be a flawless experience. I am happy to say, however, that I have every indication so far that I will not be disappointed and that my inclination to personally recommend this company to friends and neighbors will only increase with time.

these people are RIP-OFF artist.they sold me a a/c unit for over $6000.00 in 2014. 2 months later they sold me a water heater attachment that I needed. I was told when I bought my unit that this was included. no said the repair man, it was not. another $1200.00. then in september of 2015, during a service call, they found mold. they said that the end of my unit wasn't long enough for the air to circulate and needs to be extended. $514.00. it took the city 3 months to inspect the work, and they said it was leaking. direct heating fixed it quickly, but then it took another 3 months to get it re-inspected. next comes another one of my free service calls [3/22/16] and guess what?????if have mold again. they need to install larger duct work to accommodate my new unit, plus a high energy black light to eliminate the mold at a cost of thousands of dollars. every time these people come to my house for a FREE service call [ they gave me a 4 year service agreement for a reduced price] they ALWAYS try to sell me something. ALWAYS. they have NEVER come to my house with out finding something wrong with my new a/c unit these people are the lowest ss around. DO NOT USE THEM, you will lose your shirt.
