Direct Liquidation Reviews (%countItem)

I have bought several pallets of merchandise from Direct Liquidation, LLP and have been pleased until now. I recently bought a pallet of *** customer returns/clearance items for approximately $1700. The reason I bought the pallet and paid that price was because it was advertised with a MSRP value of almost $19,000. I understand that it will sometimes vary a little bit in either direction. I have experienced that with previous pallets that I have purchased, and it was fine. But every item on this pallet was mislabeled with the orange stickers they use to keep up with how much each item is worth, etc. It’s actual MSRP is approximately around $4,000. That is being generous. I took pictures of many of the items that were labeled with a sticker claiming it was something that it was not. For example: a $1 bag of popcorn boxes was labeled with a sticker stating it was a case of *** worth about $30. Also, there were dozens of $1 makeup brushes marked with a sticker claiming they were $20 make up brushes. There were hundreds of items on the pallet and about 95% of them were marked with the wrong item sticker. The sticker always was for a much higher priced item. Making the MSRP a lot higher than it really is. I would not have bought the pallet if it had been advertised correctly.
I immediately contacted customer service who said they would escalate it to upper management and let me know something. They got back to me shortly offering a 15% off my next pallet coupon. Which is completely unacceptable. The pallet I bought was grossly misrepresented. When I responded, refusing the 15% off coupon, I was told it would be escalated once again and they would be back to me shortly. That was a week ago. I have called and I have emailed daily for an update on the situation and no one will respond to me. I am just starting a new business and can’t afford a mistake like this.

We accurately describe the risks involved with "AS IS" lots and make clear the risks involved with these types of listings. The customer has previously purchased them and has luckily not ran into any issue with the condition and quality of these items. However, this does not mean the inherent risk is removed from this type of listing. We make several disclaimers notifying the customer. Our FAQ policy concerning "AS IS " listings is clear and made available to customers throughout the onboarding process and when they accept our terms and conditions. Our FAQ' states the following "Please note that any inventory sold “AS IS” can not be returned, refunded or exchanged under any circumstances".

We make every effort to explain the risk with these listings that are advertised at penny's on the dollar. If the MSRP is $18,000 and you pay $1679 then its understandable that you are paying such a low amount due to the risks involved with these goods. Which you knowingly accepted as permissible according to the level of risk you are comfortable with. We have done nothing wrong or misrepresented the items. I've attached a image of the listing and description and disclaimers of the goods the customer bid on and accepted at the time of purchase. We look forward to providing any further details or information needed to remove this complaint.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
The MSRP was advertised as $18,000 but was not. Every single item was missed labeled and miss represented in the MSRP. For example, a one dollar item was labeled with a $30 item sticker. Making the MSRP much higher than it really was. Meaning the price I paid for the pallet is about with that whole pallet is worth. I have provided proof with pictures of this. This was a mistake on their part by miss labeling each item on the pallet, therefore resulting in a much higher MSRP than it really was.
Regards
