I had a great experience with Direct Locksmith. I lost the keys to my [redacted] series and was getting an extremely high quotes from various [redacted] dealers. I would have to tow my car to the dealership as well. I searched online for a locksmith that will be able to create a new key for my vehicle and found Direct Locksmith. Joe answered my call and assured me that they will be able to create a new key for my car, I wouldn't have to tow the vehicle to their shop as well, they could come to me. The service technician came to my residence and started to work on my vehicle. He made me a new key and programmed it. I found the entire process fascinating. He did a wonderful job and answered any questions I had. In about an hour I had a new key for my vehicle for half of the dealer asking price. Professional service and reasonable price.
I had a very bad experience with Direct Locksmith. They were called out to unlock a truck. They didn't bring adequate tools to pry the door open. The man they sent couldn't even pick the lock. It took over half an our for them to finally unlock the vehicle. In the process they damages the door seal.
They couldn't write an invoice on site for me. They denied having caused the damage to the truck which had only 5000 kms. on it. Their price was extremely expensive. We did agree on $170 and they would review the damage. I sent pictures to Joe via email. They were to reply to may email and include an invoice. I received nothing.
When I saw the hit on my credit card I called them. They agreed to send an invoice and to have the manger call me. I had to call 2 days later with the same concerns and needs. They sent via email the credit card transaction record but still no invoice. I called 2 days later, again, they told me they would send the invoice again. They never sent it in the first place. I've called a 4th time and still only promises and not action.
