Review: Incorrect price quote for bundle service. I signed up through [redacted] for internet and television. I was never told 1) I would have 2 separate bills and 2) [redacted] would provide the internet. I was quoted $50.49 for both cable and internet. I asked several times "Is this for both services" and was guaranteed a "yes." I scheduled for both to be installed on Sunday, May 3, 2015. On April 27, 2015, I received a call from [redacted] they were there to install internet. I informed the technician I was out of town, but I thought May 3, 2015 was my confirmed date for installation. On May 3, [redacted] arrived to install my cable, but said he does not do internet. I called [redacted] on May 4 regarding my internet and was given the run around to contact [redacted], and [redacted] instructed me to contact [redacted]. I've wasted over 2-hours of my time. No one can give me an answer, but [redacted] insisted that I contacted them and gave permission to do a bundle with phone and internet with them for a monthly fee of $49.99 + tax. I informed [redacted] that I wanted [redacted] bundle of internet and television for $50.49 (w/2yr contract) and I was going to close my account with [redacted] phone. [redacted] (Wendy) indicated if I wanted to cancel my phone, internet would be $54.99 + tax. I said I was on a limited income and cannot afford the two bills. I wanted to cancel my phone and have the bundle I signed up for with [redacted]. Wendy informed me that I must contact [redacted] to cancel my bundle, but I would be charged $480 for cancelling my contract early. This situation has caused heart palpitations, fright, and anxiety as I cannot afford 1) the 2 separate billings that is over and above the price I was guaranteed and 2) I have no recourse or help as this will cause financial burden to me. I would have never signed up if I were going to pay more than I could afford.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the bundle and price I was guaranteed.

Review: Our system has not worked for over a year. Every request for fixing the"programming not authorized" has not been successful. When I called to change the name of the account because my husband just died they took my payment but did not change the account nor would they let me sign up as new customer.

I cancelled HBO, Starz, Showtime, Encore on june 29. They said I would receive a credit for the reduced plan but none happened. On July 23 they cancelled my service wanting another payment while the system STILL does not work. But I received no bill nor email.

I called them today and they said if I paid another $9 dollars they could wait a few days for full payment to see if the problem is still there, and rather than fix the technical problem they offered me HBO for $9. Not sure how this helps me.

I called 3 times, chatted with them twice, and sent an unpleasant email 2 days ago trying to get the shows I have been paying for. they did not respond. So today I called them without any effort to fix the problem. dish has records of these events and it is unconscionable that they wield their geographic monopoly like a loose cannon.Desired Settlement: Credit for four months service ax it was interrupted 20-30 times a day with "programming not authorized" when the programs were paid for In Advance each month.

Review: I have called DISH twice at ###-###-#### to ask them to stop sending ads through the mail. We do not want satellite service at all, but

we keep getting mail at least once a week from them. Please ask them to stop all postal mail to us.

Review: I had a early termination fee of 150.00 from Direct TV. I which I received a billing statement indicating the amount was due upon receipt. Which was fine. In a small box to the left there is a "What do I need to know" box which says, "your credit/debit card on file will be automatically charge if the account balance has not yet been paid. Well, of course it had not been paid yet, because I just received the notice. On August 17 they debit the card that was on file, without my authorization for that date, and my checking account was put into the negative which included bank overdraft fees. I guess my complaint is, "they didn't give me a date in which they were going to debit my account, nor did they get authorization to debit my account." I called them and they told me they can take my money but they can't give it back!! I am working with my bank to have the charges reversed. Not cool! and bad business. In the end I would like for them to pay back the 150.00 and 90.00 in bank fees. Even though I owe them, it's the way it was handled that has be upset.Desired Settlement: My desire outcome would be: Direct TV to refund my 150.00 plus 90.00 in bank fees. Once done I will pay them what I owe. They debit my account without telling me when which has put me in debt by -209.00.

Review: This involves my mother and me as the payee only.Within 10 hours of installing dish my mother wanted to cancel service for many reasons one of them being of health. 1: Dish tv failed to explain and/or leave a hard copy of any contract.2: They failed to inform us while on the phone with me and mom or in person with my mother about any cancellation charge.3: They stated they would cancel but with a 100% charge of 24 months.4: They state they don't need to inform you of cancellation charges.5: They themselves requested my mother not cancel prior cable services until she was 100% happy with the new service.6: My mother and I have spent hours on the phone trying to get a agreed cost for cancelation 7: I agreed to their $15 pick up service call but they also wanted over $400 cancelation charge.8: They stated they are not obligated to inform you of any charges or cancellation rights.Desired Settlement: Take back their equipment and refund any charges (less $15 I agreed too for pick up due to the fact my mother would not be able to mail system as they requested). Inform any new customers about cancellation charges. Leave a hard copy of contract and not use a lap top form. Also inform the customer they do NOT have the right to cancel within 3days, in fact based on what I was told by the manager you have no time limit at all. This should be explained from the beginning.

Review: We had dish for a year. 5he price was $63.00. A month. Then this month the bill went up to $91 and change. We were never told that the price would go up and were never told before they charged my account. I called dish and talked to [redacted] # 501. He was very rude to me and said. You were told the price and said I apparently need to be educated on how companies do business. He said I new the pricing and that I can't get any better anywhere else. He said sometimes ignorance is a negative for some people like me! He argued with me and wouldn't let me talk to a supervisor. He said that he was the only person that could help me. But he wasn't helping me, he kept arguing with me and treating me like I didn't have a brain at all. I told him he needs to use customer service and try to help the customer. Ive been in sales and retail for over 30 years and this man was so ver very rude. Then he got someone else on the phone and they said that he couldn't help me. So I told the. That I have to cancel. He said fine but you will be charged over 200.00. For canceling with them. I am so upset and hurt by these people and company.

Please check into their customer service and business dealings. I think there is a major problem with this company.

Thank you. [redacted]Desired Settlement: They want to charge me $200 for canceling. They didn't give me any choice in the matter. They refused to help me or get me into a better service. They insulted me they threatened to charge my bank account right away for canceling. They were so very rude. I am so insulted. They need to treat customers with respect and humility.

Review: In December I agreed to a contract with Dish TV for 2 years because they offered a better package than Direct tv. I explained to the rep that I could not afford to spend over $125.00 for premium cable. He assured me that this company was different. To make a long story short he lied I received a bill for $160.00 . I cannot afford this I called a a rep name [redacted] to explain how I felt defrauded by this company. She agreed to listen to the original conversation and get back to me after 4 days she called and said [redacted] @###-###-#### said I agreed to $160.00. I told her that was a lie and I want to hear this myself. She told me to call Ms. [redacted] , I did several times and to this day no response. I asked them not to take money from my account until this was settled. I agreed to pay $115.00 plus the money for the movie $6.99 nothing more, [redacted] said they would suspend the direct pay until this was settled and I could pay my monthly payment she lied and I feel they stole my money. I have a fixed income. How can they do such a thing. This is not what I sign up for , if I wanted this I could have stayed with Direct TV for $135.00. Please assist me to solve or dissolve this issue. Thank youDesired Settlement: I would like the company to stop advertising that they have rates cheaper than Direct TV, I would like to listen to the recording of my initials conversation regarding my contract where the agreement of my monthly bill not to exceed $140.00 /mo. Continue to pay the $115.00 plus movies.
