We purchased furniture that has not been delivered after multiple promised dates and coming up on 5 months. Poor response and communication.
We purchased a Chair ($442+tax) and Couch ($599+tax)from Direct Source Furniture on June 23, 2012. We were promised a 4-6 week delivery time. The time passed and we heard nothing. After making multiple calls and recieving poor response from the company we finally insisted they deliver the couch, which was in stock, immediately and then deliver the chair, which was not in stock, as soon as it arrived without an extra delivery charge to us. The couch was delivered on August 21st. After numerous calls, and again, very poor communication and response from the company, we still have no chair and no one can seem to tell us when we will recieve it. Every time we talk to someone we are promised a new date of delivery which comes and goes without any word from the company. We then make the call to find out where it is. Every time is the same. They promise to look into it and have someone call us back in a few days. We feel the company is not trying to locate and deliver our chair. At one point, they had us calling the manufacturer directly. This, we feel should be their job, not ours. They have had our money for nearly five months and we are still without our promised product and have no idea when if ever we will recieve it.
