Review: I attended a informational session with one of the sales rep. in August 2011. I explained that I would only sign up if I can get furniture right away. He agreed. Then I was told that the member number would be sent in the next 5 business days. I did not get the member number at all. I called to place an order but was told that I needed the member number to order. I went into the showroom and met with the female owner and complained and said that I wanted to cancel the membership because I will have to buy furniture elsewhere after waiting so long. She said OK and we filled out paperwork at the reception desk on the second. We were told that it takes a few day and the membership was cancelled. The only thing was at that point we came up on the first payment required which we made just to be fair. Didn't heard another thing about it for over a year. Then we started getting calls saying that we owe like $3000 and we called and sent in any and all paperwork we had to get this fix only to have it come on my credit report 2 months ago as a collection for over $8,000!!! Im livid because it is the only derogatory thing on my report which is stopping me from owning a home. They sell you accounts to collectors over and over again making money off of the collectors (who buy the crazy number they make up) while damaging your credit.Desired Settlement: I would like them to actually answer the phone when someone calls the ###-###-#### number so that we can get answers or a resolution. I am disgusted that she lied to my face only to damage someones credit as such. She needs to prove that I owe that kind of money. Its crazy! I am so upset. I need this cleared off of my credit as a collection account for that amount.
