Review: my wife and I were promised a notebook we were told we would get it right after presantion we did not receive notebook as promised direct buy promise me and my wife a free note book and free dinner we attended there presentation and hen it was over we were to get the notebook as a gift free when we ask for note book they trier to replace our gift with a gift e did not want I explained to them I wanted the note book I was promised they told me they would call me as soon as the note book came in and said they had run out also the dinner coupon they gave us had very little or no value Desired Settlement: I feel they should give me the note book and free dinner I was promised I took a lot of time out my life and waisted gas I also feel they should give us a extra nottebook for all the trobble we were put through I feel we were not treated fair and direct buy lied to us to get us to come to there presentation

Review: Revdex.com please help get our downpayment money back from DirectBuy! They knowingly took our money, signed us up for membership and now tell us that the local Rocklin showroom branch is closing. Part of the membership benefits offered through DirectBuy includes quality control inspections and face to face shopping assistance from local club staff. Upon arrive of the merchandise to the local warehouse, the Merchandise Receiver inspects our order to ensure that it was delivered free from damage or defect. Then the showroom personnel calls to let us know that the merchandise is available for pickup or delivery. They are now telling us that we have to drive all the way to Silicon Valley for these services! Who is going to pay for the delivery from Silicon Valley to Sacramento?!!!!! I joined Directbuy due to the proximity of its location from our home!!!! We havent even had our membership orientation nor made any purchases through the DirectBuy as of date. They failed to inform us as to whether we will still continue to recieve all the discounts with the local merchants we were promised as a directbuy member.

Review: High pressure sales, savings not as promised, location closed, shipping not as promised, products not available as promised.

High pressure sales tactic in pressure to sign contract, no access to store in days allowed to cancel contract, no membership number given for ability to search online products/deals, local auto dealer "deal" was not as promised, common products sought not available through store.

Have requested several times to be released from contract due to timeliness of their mistake in getting member number to us. We are not seeking a full refund (we own our mistake of falling for high pressure sales) but want to be relieved of debt associated with membership as physical location is NOW CLOSED with no member notification.

Products ordered that were supposed to be picked up and local store were sent 30 miles away for us to pick up.

This is THE WORST BUSINESS I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.Desired Settlement: Seeking to be released from remainder of financed balance ($3500) as store is no longer open and does not offer servies and savings as promised.

Review: telephone calls' rude.

on july 25th received call from XXXXXXXXXXX , requesting information from me to go to direct buy in Rocklin ca I told person I could not understand her accent .I needed to talk to some one I could understand. Was connected to another person I could hardly understand . Told person I was not interested . she would not get off phone would call me back and was rude she kept wanting to know if I had a girl friend was I married. I hung up she kept calling back called me at 851 pm. again called back 852pm called back 858pm called back 859 pm. I told her to stop calling, and to take my name from her call list she said she would not do that. I took phone off hook and did not hang it up till much later. direct buy's call person was very hard to understand, she was insentient that I give her information I did not feel good in giving Desired Settlement: Do not call me or other people if we/ they request to stop being bothered .

Review: Purchased a Duplex advised need for wholesale local materials. Local warehouse closed down without advising me I'm paying $192.20 monthly for usage.

During sales presentation I advised Direct Buy Reps the need we have for materials from their Rocklin Warehouse. After purchasing the duplex and needing to order flooring, Water heater and other materials I was not able to get in touch with anyone. Subsequently I was told that the local direct buy warehouse closed down. Meanwhile my duplex was in immediate need for supplies. Direct Buy advised me it would take approx. 5 weeks to order materials and the nearest Direct Buy location is about 3 hours from our home. I became a member during February 2013, my member number is XXXXXXX. I have not be able to go in a purchase anything. You must have an appointment to go to the store and after seeking an appointment I was advised of the local store's closure. This information should have be disclosed to me prior to joining in their membership. The membership cost about $3400.00. Desired Settlement: I am seeking to void my membership and that all payments for local membership be canceled immediately. This is based on the integrity of the contract whereas Direct Buy was less than honest during our purchasing agreement. We specifically advised the sales person that we needed to take advantage of the local warehouse and obtain supplies to fix up the duplex we purchased (from my father's estate ) following my dad's death in 2012.

Review: Canceled membership in person the very next day 3/22/13. Today is 5/10/13 still not received refund.

After joining the membership, canceled in person the next day 3/22/13. Received numerous calls to keep membership with lowering the price from $5364.25 to $1,000. less. No we want a refund. We were told we would have the money refunded. We made numerous calls asking where our refund was. [redacted] called back to say the person who signs the checks has not been in town. Another week goes buy, we call again. [redacted] tells us it will be in the mail at the latest Tuesday or Wednesday. I just called Direct Buys Corporate office, because our membership was canceled they have no record of us. This person calls [redacted] he tells her no, the check has not gone out yet he will call us today 5/10/13 to give us an update.Desired Settlement: We gave Direct buy a visa card for the amount of $5364.25 it has been 7 weeks, they need to deposit the full amount back on the visa.

4/20/2013: We entered into a membership contract with Direct Buy of Sacramento and paid a fee of $5,364.25. The contract contained a 3 business day cancellation clause without penalty of obligation, further stating any payment made would be returned within 10 days following receipt of cancellation

4/22/2013: We mailed via Federal Express overnight our cancellation notice to [redacted] LLC at [redacted] Drive, [redacted] CA XXXXX, the name and address listed on the contract notice of cancellation clause

4/23/2013: The envelope was delivered and signed for by the receptionist

4/24/2013: We received a phone message from [redacted] at Direct Buy acknowledging receipt of our notice of cancellation

5/7/2013: 10 business days have elapsed, refund has not been received. [redacted] telephoned DirectBuy as to the status of our refund. No answer, left message, requested return call

5/22/2013: Still have not received a response. [redacted] sent another email to [redacted] at Member Relations asking again for a response.Desired Settlement: $5,364.25 plus interest and costs incurred to collect the debt.

Review: Direct Buy continues to call me repeatedly despite my requests to stop calling me. sometimes they call me every day of the week.

Ive spoke to supervisors that told me that they would take me off the list and they dont([redacted]) the only supervisor that would give me their name, usually they refuse to give a name. Im not interested in their product, and after this harassment, probably never will be. Ive reported them to the FCC over ten times, I am on the do not call list. When I tell them that I am on the do not call list, they ignore me and tell me the do not call list does not apply to them. I am getting really tired of this company calling me, they almost always call during dinner. They talk over me and are very disrespectful towards me when im trying to tell them nicely to stop calling me. Desired Settlement: I just want them to stop bothering me. PLEASE

Its a lie as they continue to call me. They called me twice yesterday (July 28th 5:46 pm and 8:32pm), once July 26th at 8:24pm and once on July 25th at 6:27pm, they will not stop calling me. Every time they call me I ask that they do not call me anymore, they lie to me and still call. Sometimes they blatantly refuse to take me off their call list.

Review: Repeated phone calls to my cell number over the past year. I have asked repeatedly for my number to be removed. My number is on the do not call list.

Direct Buy continues to call my cell phone on a regular basis. Today they called me 4 times in a two hour span. Over the past year I have asked numerous employees, including supervisors and managers to remove my number from their list. I am on the national do not call list and for the past couple of months have been reporting the calls to their complaint department.Desired Settlement: I want to the phone calls to stop.
