Re: Complaint [redacted]In reference to the Complaint filed on
4/18/2017, Paradise Towing and Auto has a rate schedule posted at our office
that states the fees charged for all tows. The tow that this gentleman fell
under was not a simple tow. The vehicle in question was approximately 3 miles
down...

the national seashore and approximately 65 feet into the sand dunes. A
vehicle in this situation would fall under our recovery policy and therefor
would be charged on that rate schedule.The police requested the tow, when we
arrived on scene the police had stated that the vehicle was abandoned and there
were no keys. The vehicle was pulled off the dunes and transported back to our
impound lot. (To complete recoveries we are required to bring two vehicles, one
military vehicle and then a flatbed tow truck)Itemized invoices are
available to anyone that can prove ownership of the vehicle via printed invoice
or email. The owners then requested to make payments on the vehicle which we
were willing to help them with even though we do not usually finance. They then
paid us a discounted rate in full, then requested that we complete the repairs
on the vehicle as the CV shaft had broken during his off road adventures.I have attached a copy of the police
impound report, recovery fee schedule and a copy of the tow ticket.Thank you for the opportunity to explain
our side of the incident.
