Review: Ended my service with them a couple of months ago, they contacted me asking for me to return the equipment, equipment was returned and I never received a final bill, which would've given me a break down in what was owed to the company. On 4/**/15 the charge my debit card that I used in the past to make monthly payments (Not automatic payments) without informing that they was going to do so. The money that was debit from my account was for a funeral service. When I contacted them, they refused to refund my account.Desired Settlement: A refund and a break down bill of what I'm being charged.

Review: I was quoted a price over the telephone for premium channel HBO and Starz for less than $45 per month. I was also told that there would not be an early cancelation fee if I were unhappy with the services. After installation I am told that there will be a charge for the Starz channel. In addition, prior to installation I was told that there would be no increase in rates for one years. After insulation I am told that there will be an increase every three and six months.Desired Settlement: Fix rate for twelve months and no charge for the Starx premium channel. Remove the Penalty for early termination of service.

Review: I called direct tv to get cable service . They came out and install the service, but never telling me that I had 24 hrs to cancel if I didn't like the service. I was informed that I had 30 days. My service started not working properly after 2 days. The 3rd day I call an made a complaint. No one mention sending a tech out to check out the problem. I let the person no that if I still had the problem that I would call back. The problem continued so I called to cancel the service and was told that I have to pay a early cancellation free in the amount of $460 plus the bill.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to wave the cancellation free and charge me for the days that the service worked while I had the service.

Review: Direct TV advertised TV services without a contract and can terminate service any time without penalty. I got services with Direct TV on or about October 2013 and terminated service on or about June 2014. On or about July *, 2014, Direct TV charged $294.00 to my checking account without notice or oppritunity to appeal such early termination fee (ETF). I called Direct TV on or about July *, 2014 and I was told that there was "Term & Condition" I had agree upon with I initially requested services, thus they could not do anything about this fee.

I was decieved to believe I could terminate service anytime without a penalty fee. Now they have charged $294.00 to my checking account without my knowledge.Desired Settlement: The fact that Direct TV charges almost $300.00 to your credit account without knowledge is upsetting and scary. I understand termination fee when they are clearly explained and the costumer understands when one signs contract. I never signed a contract and I was never told that the early termination fee was going to be almost $300.00. I want the $294.00 return to my checking account because I never signed a contract.

Review: I put cable in my name with Direct TV and after two months they shut my cable off because they think I either lived with my son or he lived with me and they want me to pay his outstanding bill of $800+ before they will turn it back on. He has never lived with me and I have never lived with him so therefore I shouldn't be responsible for his billDesired Settlement: I just want to not be responsible for my sins bill.

I am currently a graduate student and when football season started I thought I would order Direct Tv NFL Sunday ticket for students, it was at a discounted rate. For the first few weeks the program worked amazingly, every game would stream through without a problem. Ad we reached the months of November and early December the streaming device started to act up, it would load, it would not have games come through. Other times the screen would be black with no sound, or sound with not game. I called dDirec Tv on several occasions, and their answer was for me to downgrade my computer to make sure their product works. I find this to be unnecessary, and something they need to fix on their end. I am paying $100 for this service to only have it for a few weeks. I was informed there would be no way to cancel the program, and no real clear answer was given to me on how to fix this solution. Terrible product, even worse costumer support.

Review: I ordered direct tv on the telephone , and requested the genie setup to have multiple recording services. I as never told about up grade choices . one week later I ordered a basic hd box and I was told that was an upgrade . still not explained to me , I was just told I would recieve this along with professional instalation for free . the following sunday my tv would not allow me to watch a different program then what was being recorded . I called direct tv and was told I did not have the genie . I said well thats what I want and ordered . she stated that I had already used my free upgrade and it would cost me 299.99. I said no that I ordered the genie and therefore you have not honored the contract that I agreed to . I was told I could not do any thing about it and that I will have to pay out the remainder of the contract ,and I said no I would not . on my second call I spoke with [redacted] . I explained to her what happened and she stated im sorry but you will have to pay 480.00 to end the contract with them. and again I responded with the contract was null and void when you did not equip me with my request and that I am not responsible to pay for something I did not request or purchase . she responded with , "im sorry this has happened , alot of times the people who set this up dont explain to the customer that they are down grading them and are not told of the upgrade service and how it works .: I responded that I did not register a debit card so how do plan to get the money , she responded thats why we have you social security number and we will post on your credit report . therefore I told her I was contacting appropriate authorities and I was not going to allow them to force me to purchase equipment I never ordered.Desired Settlement: I want them to take back their equipment and disconnect all services and bill me for the two weeks that I used the television services .

Review: They conned me into signing up for there service saying my package would only be 82$ a month it ended up being 120$ plus then they told me for the first year I would get the nfl su.day ticket at no extra charge it wasnt on my account so I called and spoke to a manager said they never said that and I cpuld purchase for 299$ .Desired Settlement: I want my sunday ticket for free for the first year like they told me I would recieve .
