Attached please find a .pdf file of the ad that the complaint addressesWhile I cannot comment on what a co-worker said, I can say that once in a while a person reads ads wrong In this case, the ad shows a [redacted] 28” tv advertised for $ The price is clearly in the rectangle containing the tv.Below this is a ***, 65” tv for $ The name [redacted] is featured twice, again with the price below it in a rectangleIt appears that this person looked at the price and looked below it, seeing the words “ [redacted] 65”” However, it’s clear that if you look at the rest of the ad, the unwritten uniformity is that all tvs and prices are contained in separate boxes/rectanglesI hope this clears things up I can assure you that it doesn’t “happen all the time”Thank youJerry W [redacted] Manager, Dirt Cheap TV
In 1/years of business we have never received a complaint of this nature? The ad in question is clear when you match the name [redacted] in the line that says " [redacted] LED TV" to the picture that says "***"with a price of $? The only $tv in the ad is the " [redacted] LED", which also has the [redacted] logo in the tv? It's actually nearly impossible to advertise a 65" tv for $149, as that would likely be a violation of minimum advertised pricing that manufacturers set
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Clearly nothing is going to be done with this company falsifying ads to get people in the doorSince I made the claim they have changed thier adThe only way I will be satisfied is for the company to honor the original fraudulent ad price of $Regards, *** ***
