Dirty Car Auto Spa

This business did severe damage to my 2008 Range Rover Sport as a result of employee and mechanical negligence.I took my vehicle to The Dirty Car to have it washed. Upon arriving, a company employee asked me to step out of my car and wait in the lobby while he vacuumed and detailed the inside of the vehicle. The same employee then drove the vehicle into the automated carwash and inadvertently applied the parking brake. The automated system began pushing the vehicle through the carwash while all wheels were locked for approximately 25 feet. The vehicle came out of the guiding system and turned sideways inside the carwash resulting in major damage to the alignment, tires and wheels. Additionally, while the vehicle was sideways it hit a number of various mechanisms within the carwash causing major cosmetic damage as well. I was unaware of the issue until a number of "Dirty Car" employees began shouting for someone to turn off the carwash. I ran outside to witness the vehicle being pushed sideways through the bay while knocking into a number of mechanical devices and essentially bouncing sideways off the guiderail. Once the car made it through, I was approached by a Manager who explained to me that the business was responsible for the damages and that I was to send them an estimate immediately so that they could make restitution. I went directly to a local mechanic who provided an estimate for the damages caused by the company. The Manager then forwarded the estimate to the owner who ultimately informed me that they would not be paying for anything without explanation or further recourse. The vehicle was in perfect working order prior to visiting this business. I was not operating the vehicle at anytime throughout this process and could not be considered liable for anything that occurred after exiting the vehicle. As a result of this company's negligence, I am left with approximately $1,500.00 worth of damages and an inability to drive to work.Desired Settlement$1,500.00 in damages. More Info Received From The Consumer The owner of this organization contacted me and was fair and ethical in resolving this dispute. I would like to withdraw the complaint and would recommend this business in the future.
