I am person in this photo, and did not consent for it to be posted anywhere online. I requested the dirty world llc remove this posting. The details in this ad are confidential. I feel my privacy has been violated.

The information is incorrect and I can prove this. If I need to go to court I will. My attorney's name is [redacted] of [redacted], Co.

If we have to go that route, reimbursement will be requested from thedirty.com for punitive damages and all attorney /court fees

I have attempted to reach the business but nothing has been resolved on their end. The terms and conditions recommended the following steps to request removal. I have done all these and still nothing has happened.

Review: On June 5, 2009 a photo of a woman simulating [redacted]as posted on “The Dirty.com”. The title of the webpage is “How Slimm Thug Gets Down”. The site allows people to anonymously post comments and opinions about the photograph. There are 5 comments of individuals that have stated my first and last name falsely identifying me as the woman in the photo. The comments are derogatory and sexually explicit.

The photo shows a Houston based rapper and a reality TV star, not me. There is evidence this image is not me. On the website www.atlpics.net. Both sites atlpics.net and thedirty.com show content dated in the same year showing both the man and the woman depicted on “The Dirty.com” in Atlanta, GA. wearing the same clothes. In 2009, I was a graduate student living in Houston, TX and I have never been to Atlanta, GA.

Over the last 5 years, I have submitted request to “The Dirty.com” via the sites “Post Removal” option and “Contact Us” links to remove my name from this site. The webmaster has not removed the content.

Not only does the information that falsely identifies me as the woman in photo impact my personal life, it has the potential of impacting my professional growth. I have suffered public humiliation, and despite multiple request for the information to be removed, the webmaster has denied and/or ignored my request.Desired Settlement: I want my name, first and last, completely removed from this site. Not have it disguised with an asterisk. This still shows in the internet search engines.

Review: thedirty.com has a post that includes a photo of my daughter thats a minor and was taken from my facebook without permission. This post was made to destroy me and my family. Review: This website has caused a fake bad reputation for me. Someone has posted really horrible false stuff. It should be illegal, I know none of it's true but it hurts and sad to say it's caused major depression because of the lies that are being said to people who matter the most! Review: My little sister's first and last name is being used on the website and there is a defaming photograph of her without her permission. I understand the nature of the website is to defame others but our last name is on the site which I believe is against the rules of the site. It is one thing to be able to defame people but this page is searchable due to her name. This is not an "opinion" anymore but a sueable action. This has turned into a form of bullying with her actual name. Anyone can search her under her name and find other people's opinions about her. I do not want this to escalate further and for something bad to happen to her.Desired Settlement: I would like this page to be taken down immediately. If this is not honored I will take further measures to make sure that the site honors their policies. This has called serious emotional damage for our entire family. Our family name is on the site for all to see.

Review: Thedirty.com is a disgrace of a website. They are entirely devoted to slandering and mocking people publicly on the internet and are actually somehow legally allowed to allow anyone who feels like it, to post other peoples names and photos on their website. The entire purpose of these posts are to deliberately slander the victim. I am a nursing student, I have had my share of odd friends in my lifetime, and one of these individuals decided that when our friendship ended, she would submit a foul and phony post about me on this website, she included a picture of my face, and linked it to my legal name. When my name is searched in Google or any other search engine, this post pops up near the top of the list. I have no legal recourse, I cannot prove that this individual posted it though she has admitted it verbally to others. I have been on a path to self-improvement, and have been a serious full-time student for 3 years. I am about to receive my nursing degree, and am worried about what potential employers will think about this post. It is causing me emotional hardship, defaming my character and could potentially destroy employment opportunities. I would be elated to see this entire website shut down, as it serves no good or purpose and seeks only to destroy and defame people at will. It should be illegal what these people do and they ought to be ashamed of themselves. The post was from an ex, in which was created out of harsh feelings. Under the Online Defamation Law, the post was invalid and deemed illegal due to it's nature and being unable to provide that the post was a true fact. She contacted the web master who replied that no posts will be removed at this time. The post has listed her name and place of employment and commenters have also listed her address which could lead to serious issues/harm/loss of employment. By the webmaster denying the post removal request, they are not obiding by the Online Defamation Law.I would like this business checked into as they do not seem to be obiding by laws and are allowing this kind of information to be shared without the "correct" person(s) consent.Desired Settlement: I would like the post to be removed and I would like the website owner(s) to be checked in on and informed of the current laws/statues in place for internet purposes.
