They advertise as Insurance Specialists and offer a FREE Estimate, yet they refused to give a real Free Insurance EstimateSee their website
Had a fire in my home *** in January Called and spoke to owner who knew everything correct to say ie call me when you get Ins Estimate, we will give you a Free Estimate in just a couple of days, we do good work etc
I got the Insurance Company Estimate and forwarded it to them The guy came out and inspected the property Said I would have Free estimate based off the Ins Co Estimate in a couple of days Days turned to weeks and after about the 10th excuse (and telling me the estimate was 85% done) the guy told me the boss said not to give me the Estimate bc I had not signed with them yet
I got the boss and told him that was advertising and misleading sales practice and in fact conduct not worthy of Revdex.com bc it is flat out lying After more messages I received a page had scribbled estimate with an amount

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:The business clearly misrepresented themselves to us as a "preferred vendor" of the insurance companyWho would question the relationship between insurance company and the vendor? They demanded for a signature form me even though I told them that I could not read it with my glassesTheft size their iPad form was to small for me to readThey insisted that all was ok and "have been doing business with the insurance company for many years as a preferred vendor"The insurance company said that the company was not a "preferred vendor" The billing is in question as to the dollar amount and ratings, scope needed, etc... Other professionals reviewed the work, and billing and come up with a similar conclusion. COMPLEELY UNJUSTIFIALBE Comparable suggested dollar for the scope of work actually needed were said to be a fraction of what was billed. As for stating that the client was aware the the resident knew it was still wet is completely ridiculousIn fact after the equipment was removed, enter vendor came out two days later and measured no conserning elevated moisture readingsWhy was the company pushing for another weekend of keeping their equipment in there? TO increase the billing? This company has been notified by the insurance company that they feel the current billing is not in line. STILL, the fact is that they misrepresented themselvesLIED.....
Regards,
*** ***

(1) TDR did not represent preferred status, and never have; (2) any dispute between customer’s charges per the contract and reimbursement is a matter to be dealt with between customer and insurance company, as TDR doesn’t have a contract or agreement with the insurance company; (3) objective moisture readings support claims of wetness, and those were acknowledged by customer; and (4) clear contractual agreements control the pricing, work, billing, and disputeresolution

While they did negotiate at the end of the process they tried to charge me 5900 dollars vs 4700 that they agreed to with the insurance company. While the service was good their customer service practices are not. Be cautious

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:the fact of the matter is that they did represent themselves as a prefered vendor of the insurance company that we had. The blatant respond and denial is not accurate at all. [redacted] said that they did a lot of work with Usaa. It was suggested that the billing trecieved was 10 times the amount that was estimated for similar work.Thsi company has frodualntly misrepresented themselves and has a practice of completely overcharging.

Customer signed a contract that states payment is due within 30 days from the date of the contract.  The contract is dated 5/08/2015.  The first week of September the customer's insurance company advised Texas Disaster Restoration (TDR) that the customer had received payment.  TDR...

resent an invoice and the customer received it on 9/17/2015.  Knowing that the customer received payment, TDR called the customer to determine when payment would be sent.   The customer has all necessary paperwork with customer's signature and the pricing provided is customary to the emergency services industry.
