Thank you for giving us the opportunity to respond to Ms. [redacted]'s complaint.  We have been attempting to work with Ms. [redacted] since she provided notice of her intent to vacate.  Because of her long and reliable history in the property, we tried to accommodate her as best as we could. ...

Despite the fact that she didn't pay her last month's rent, which is a direct lease violation and should incur late fees, we waived late fees and agreed to refund the balance of her Deposit funds to her.  Her Security Deposit refund check, along with the explanation of charges (which included only the last month's rent charge) was mailed to her new address via USPS Certified Mail on April 19.  The address was correct.  A copy of the envelope is attached showing the date it was mailed and the address it was sent to.   It was not mailed to Ms. [redacted] from the Jennings Post Office.  I do not know why Ms. [redacted] failed to pick the certified mail up from her carrier, or from the post office.  If she would have, this problem could have been avoided.  At any rate, I tried to phone Ms. [redacted] when I received the check back from the USPS.  After leaving a voicemail, I followed up with an e-mail to verify her new address.  It was correct.  I let her know that I would not be re-sending the check via certified mail.  I would, instead, send the check via regular first-class mail.  Apparently the check did reach Ms. [redacted] because it has now cleared our account.  All of Ms. [redacted]'s accusations are inherently false.  I trust that, since this issue was resolved organically and without any involvement of the Revdex.com, that this complaint will not be published and shared publicly.  To do so would be defamatory and perpetuating a harmful practice on the part of Ms. [redacted] to behave in an accusatory and argumentative manner, while creating problems where none exist.  Dischert Properties has always acted with the utmost integrity and respect to all Residents and all Property Owners.
