According to my car, and the all data information on my car, the ONLY way that the camber can be adjusted on my vehicle is to replace the bolts with smaller camber bolts; and this was NOT done.

Review: Almost a year ago I bought new struts for my vehicle. I had taken it to [redacted] in Vista to have him put them on my car, only to find out that he didn't do alignments. I ended up having to buy two new tires, and then went to Discount Alignment to get an alignment, and knew that driving any farther on the new tires would result in damaging the tires. When I explained what was done, the alignment price was given to me of $65.00; but the man behind the counter (he claimed to be the owner, I didn't catch his name) told me that [redacted] had somehow put the struts on "backwards" and that he was going to have to take them off and put them on the correct way for an additional $100 fee. I remember this because I thought it sounded quite fishy, and said so - the man was quite rude and told me that if I didn't believe him that I could take my car somewhere else. Because I didn't want to damage my tired, I had him do the alignment and paid the $165.00. Now almost a year later, my daughter was driving the car home from UCLA on the freeway late at night when one of the strut mounts broke completely free from the housing. I believed what the man had told me to be true that he had charged me the additional $100 for taking the struts off and putting them on the correct way (left on left side, and right on right side) so I was very angry that he had taken these off and not seen that the strut mounts needed to be changed. (In changing them at the shop that I work at, they had been put together and held in place by shims) So whomever touched them last (Discount Alignment) either A) didn't touch them because there is NO WAY that you can interchange the left and right struts (which resulted in him not seeing the broken mounts) or B) he broke the mounts and fixed them and didn't tell me. Either way it's negligence on his part. To top it off - I went to speak to him about it - and at first he denied it was even his shop that did the work because all I had was my bankDesired Settlement: statement - and when he printed out the receipt and it said that the $100 extra charge was for camber adjustment. Well, low and behold - MY CAR does not have the camber bolts to do that - so I'm not quite sure how he was able to adjust the camber without them. Basically - he saw a woman come it - thought I would have no clue what was going on - and charged me for something he DID NOT DO.

I would like a full refund of the $165.
