In 2011 we went to Discount Auto where we were pleased with the selection and service. We made a trade in with no problems. I opt to transfer my tags, we got our registration within no time and the remaining balance on my car was paid off in no time. This year in September I turned 30 and decided I wanted another vehicle. Since we had a good experience at Discount Auto I decided to go back. On Sept 23rd I found a vehicle I wanted and we traded in my old vehicle. This time however, I had to call several times about my registration. The License plates agency told me that dealerships have 10 days to turn in paper work to have tags transferred. I didn't get my registration until after 30 days. Now well after a month my vehicle I traded in has not been paid off. I have been calling Discount Auto as well as the finance company. I have been getting the run around with Discount Auto. The finance company said they never contacted them for a 20 day pay off. They pretty much went off what I told them the pay off was. Last week I spoke with [redacted] at Discount Auto she said she was sending it off to check with the finance company this week. I did. And they have not received it. Now I am 4 days away from being 30 days late and then they will send it to creditor. I have not missed a payment always made my payments ahead of time I am already making payments on my new vehicle and they have yet to pay off my old one. I have called several times. When I say my name they already know what I'm calling about. Today [redacted] told me she has just go off the phone with the finace company to get my pay off. I call the finance co and they had no record of anyone calling except myself. Greenville is about an hour away, I have kids and work and its just hard to take off to ride down there. They have not kept up their end of the deal. I filed out a complaint form with an[redacted] investigator when I had received my registration and the day I went to send it off I got my registration in the mail. I don't like getting the run a round.Product_Or_Service:[redacted]Desired SettlementI would like for them to pay off my vehicle like they said they were. AND if possible take responsibility for the late payment and fix that as far as my credit is concerned. I spent all summer trying to improve my credit, paying off certain things. I was in good standards with the finance company, always paid my bill on time or ahead of time and now because they failed to do what they were suppose to do my credit is not good with this particular finance company which can hurt me, not them.Business Response After reviewing Ms. [redacted] file and complaint, I have found that Ms. [redacted] was not treated appropriately. Her vehicle she traded it should have been paid off in a timely manner. I do apologize for any inconvenience this caused her. Her vehicle was paid off and all late fees taken care of by the dealership. I hope Ms. [redacted] will accept our apology - no customer, especially a returning customer, should be treated this way. My complaint is concerning my 6 month warranty that is suppose to come with the car when I purchased it.I called and went by the business numberous times concerning the warranty and no one seems to care or relay the messages that I leave. I purchased my car the 1st of July Paid in Full and til this day August 26, 2015. I still don't have the warranty and no one attempt to call me back concerning this matter. It's time to get my car inspected and the check engine light is on and the issue is covered under the warranty. But they failed at giving me the warranty that I paid to have on my car. [redacted] was the sales person and my vehicle is a [redacted]Desired SettlementI need the warranty or money backBusiness Response Mrs. [redacted] did receive a 6 month warranty when she purchased her vehicle at no cost to her. The warranty was placed on the vehicle and she has had the work completed and paid for by the warranty company. I do apologize for it being drawn out longer than it should have been and we should have had better contact with Mrs. [redacted] regarding her warranty and the process of filing a claim with the warranty company. All work is completed and I hope Mrs. [redacted] is satisfied.

they told me one price and it to a higher priceThe online price was at least $500 dollars less than what I actually paid. I feel like I was truly ripped off by the person who did the paperwork. I HIGHLY recommend that if you DO happen to buy from this Dealership CHECK YOUR PAPERWORK BEFORE SIGNING!!!!!!!!!You will feel as if you've been robbed! I intend to file with small claims court on this issue! think very hard to buy pass that dealership and make sure he tell you ,that he put gap insurance in the bill to.....Desired SettlementI want the 500.00 they ripped me offBusiness Response Discount Auto Inc has been in business for over 15 years. A good percentage of our customers actually live out of state and quite often we don't meet our customers in person. As a result, we make it a point to take extra time to describe the vehicle and to explain all the paperwork (including pricing, taxes & fees). The negotiated price of this particular vehicle was $14995 with an allowance of $1500 for a [redacted] with over 200,000 miles. The deal was structured in order to get a finance source to approve it. Mr.[redacted] was fully aware of the structure and his credit situation and signed all the pertinent paperwork prior to taking delivery. Mr.[redacted] also came up to our dealership and threatened a young receptionist who had nothing to do with the transaction so therefore we had to contact authorities and have Mr.[redacted] removed from our premises. The safety of our employees and customers must come first!

Summer of 2015 my husband and I went to Discount Auto and traded in our 2003 vehicle for another vehicle. We were told on the day of our trade that our old vehicle will be paid off by the end of the month. Now well after 2 months that vehicle have not been paid off. I have been getting calls from the finance company stating that I am late on my payments and it's going against my Credit. I explained to the finance company that I traded that vehicle in and they should have received some kind of communication from Discount Auto. They had no record of anyone from Discount Auto contacting them at all. I called Discount Auto and the manager there informed me that he had no idea that this was going on and he would take care of it. I have always made my payments ahead of time and I am already making payments on the new vehicle. They have not kept up the end of their deal and I am very exasperated. I don't like getting the run around. This situation is hurting my credit as well as my reputation with that finance company./////Desired SettlementMy desired resolution would be for them to pay off that vehicle as agreed and any late fees that have accumulated. Because they have failed to keep up their end of the deal in a timely manner my credit will be ruined. Thanks /////
