Discount Auto Sales Reviews (26)

I have had very good experiences with this Discount Auto Sales location. I purchased my first vehicle with them around 2012. I came in with no credit and the whole team helped me with the options that were available to me. They were all very kind and used a no pressure approach which I appreciated very much. Because of that experience I came back in 2015 to purchase my current vehicle. Once again they helped me get financing and were very helpful. I have nothing but good things to say about Discount Auto Sales

[redacted] GREAT EXPERIENCE! [redacted] I bought a Nissan from Discount Auto Sales over a year ago, and my experience was painless, stress-free, and quick and easy. The staff was great. [redacted], the salesman was extremely polite and helpful. [redacted], the finance-manager got me financed quickly and on my way. About a month ago, and with still being pretty new to town, I needed help on where to go to get my car serviced- and when I called them for help, they were more than willing. Although, they were busy and couldn't fit me in right away, they soon did and saved me a lot money. I have even referred 2 friends to them that also bought cars and had great experiences, and I will continue to refer!

[redacted] did purchase a 2004 Infiniti G35 on 2/08/2014.  We have asked everyone in the office and no one remembers answering a call from [redacted]. I believe [redacted] maybe calling the wrong dealer, please verify the...

number you are calling. [redacted] If [redacted] would have called the response she would’ve  gotten  from anyone discussing a service concern would have  been  that although you bought this vehicle over 2 years ago we will still be happy to look at it for you and get the parts at our cost with minimal labor cost.  If there has been an issue with the car since [redacted] bought it why not come the dealer where you bought the car?  Although this was purchased  2 years ago we still are willing to help you with any issues the vehicle may have.  Call and ask for Mario or Revan.  Another option maybe to trade that vehicle in and upgrade it to a newer vehicle.   As for the car fax we do not provide car fax due to the cost, but we never withhold the Vin# from our clients and [redacted] had the chance to pull a Car fax report at her own cost before purchasing the vehicle.

[redacted] , I recently just purchased a 2010 Chevy Impala from Discount Auto Sales Each the staff treated me like one of their own. I love their no hassle approach to sales. I came in there with no credit history and they worked around that to help me find a vehicle I was satisfied with. Ive decided to purchase from Discount Auto again once I build my credit , because of the positive experience I had prior. Luis was is a amazing salesman & I would definitely recommend anyone that is on the market for a new car to Discount Auto Sales!

March 25, 2016Re: Complaint ID #: [redacted] On February 5th, 2016 Mrs. [redacted]  and [redacted]  purchased a 2006 Chevy Monte Carlo. Purchase price was $10,900.00 not $17000.00. A couple of weeks later, on or about March 17th, 2016 client brought vehicle in...

concerned about some service issues. After vehicle was checked it was diagnosed with some transmission issues. It was then that we offered to replace the transmission with a used transmission ABSOLUTLY FREE of charge and out of courtesy.   Due to the fact that there is a process when performing such type of job most of the Auto Recyclers Company’s we work with will take up to a certain amount of days to deliver the transmission to us and therefore it can take a few days to get the job done.  In this case it took 10 days.  Due to car being at our service location while doing the necessary repairs, car had in fact accumulated some dust due to the elements, which we have no control over.  And it is not our custom to offer a carwash when vehicle’s come in for any repairs. When client came to pick the vehicle up he noticed that the key he was given was not the original key and remote.  He was told that we were going to check into it.  After doing some research the service rep. found out that we had lost his original key, so replaced and reprogrammed a new key fob (remote) for the client.  It was then when he mentioned the fact that his original key fob had a remote start option. He was told that we were going to check into it and find out if his vehicle was originally equipped with a remote start option.  And if it was we would program the correct key fob. After finding out that his original remote did have the Remote Start Option. The replacement key fob was then replaced and he was then given a key fob that will performed ALL the necessary functions his car is equipped with. Therefore the remote he was given would be the correct one for his vehicle.   Trunk was never inspected by us  or client and we were never made aware  as to the position of the speakers at the time of vehicle being dropped off.  Client pointed out to us  that one of the 3 speakers he had in the trunk was not in its original place and some how it had been moved from the left side of the trunk to the middle of it. The speaker was not “ripped out” as client states, the wires that connect to the back of the speaker  had somehow  disconnected from it , and wire was then connected to the back of the speaker and  speaker was cleaned and put back into place. Client wanted to just leave it as it was and he would check it at home, but was advised to test it and make sure it was working properly, which he did and everything worked fine as he checked it before leaving. At the time client also pointed out the fact that the vehicle had a couple of oil spots, which we wiped down and cleaned, wanting to make sure he would be happy.  Wanting to make sure that we did everything possible to satisfy our client the owner even offered to have the vehicle fully detailed at no charge and the client turned down the offer. At this time we feel that on that same day  we did everything  we could to try to resolve the clients concerns. The issue with the transmission  was fixed, and client was provided with a proper working key and key fob. Therefore we will not be refunding any money or replacing key and remote control.

Review: I purchased a 2000 Infiniti in the amount of $3000.00 from Mr. [redacted] on 10/09/2013 and 5 days later the car went completely out. I called Mr. [redacted] and told him about the car and he said that it was probably the starter and sent me to his mechanic for repairs that I had to pay for in the amount of $150.00. Once I drove the car for about 1 block the car stalled. I was able to re start the car and returned to [redacted]'s mechanic. The mechanic did a diagnostic and said that I would need to replace the Idle Air Control Valve. That cost me over $300.00 to repair and the car continues to stall. I took the car to my mechanic and was told that this is a common problem with this car and when the IACV goes out that the ECM will need to be replaced as well and that the dealer more than likely new this before selling the car. The cost of this could be more than $2000.00. I believe that [redacted] new of this problem but sold me the car like this anyway. [redacted] also told me that he had to put on the paperwork that he sold me the car for $1,500.00 in order to process the DMV paperwork and if he did not put down the 1,500.00 dollar price, he would have to sell me the car for 3,500.00 dollars. [redacted] also told me that I would have to come and pick up the title from him once he receives the title from the DMV and that I would have to take the title to the DMV and get it put in my name. This is my first time purchasing a car so I believed what he was telling me was the truth. Also he told me that the car has never been in an accident but it has a salvage title. Because my family owns a small business I realize that acquiring and maintaining loyal repeat patron as well as spreading the word of your business through these loyal patrons is of the utmost importance in every company.I have this car that won't run properly, I have no title to the car and paperwork that has the in correct price on it.

Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Refund

I would like a refund of my $3000.00 plus the cost of parts and mechanic fees that I have put into this car .
