Review: I have an issue with Discount Batt regarding Refund and Exchanging a product. On 10/30/15, I purchased a laptop battery for 26.99 plus shipping. I purchased this battery on [redacted] from Discount Batt. A month later, the battery stopped working and became useless. I contacted DiscountBatt asking for them to send me a new battery. They refuse to send me a new battery but they asked me to return the defective one first which I would have to pay for my own shipping costs. Once they receive the defective battery, they will send me a replacement.

I told them, I don't accept this solution. I told them I want a new battery shipped to me first then I will send them the defective battery. I spoke to [redacted] and they can't do anything to resolve this problem.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of 26.99 in a form of a check mail to me and I will send back the defective battery.

Review: I purchased a battery for a laptop on 01/10/14 from Discountbatt. The battery arrived and I proceeded to charge it as per their instructions. After the procedure, I turned the computer on only to have it shutdown almost immediately. I charged it a while longer only to get the same results. At this point I contacted Discount battery and they sent me a list of system checks to verify it was not my laptop causing the issue. I went through their instructions and ended with the same results, so Discountbatt was contacted again. This time they offered to replace the battery, with me having to pay the shipping charges to return their faulty battery. To make a very long story shorter, the second battery arrived and the results were identical. At this point I tried everything from taking my laptop to a computer technician to reformatting the system. Same results! I then decided to dig up my original battery that was being replaced because it would only hold a charge for a couple hoursand charged it up. I turned the laptop on and perfect. The system ran flawlessly. This made it obvious that the Discountbatt product was not compatible with my machine. So, since they sell these batteries under the pretense of a full refund, satisfaction guarantee, I began the process of requesting the refund. Since they only communicate via e-mail, a message was sent expecting a response within the 12 to 24 hours they offer. To this day, after getting tired of sending emails, I have not gotten a response. After reading the Rip Report Website which I wish I would have done first, I have found out that this company has had the same problem with many of their customers!!Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for the battery and both shipping transactions

I bought a Macbook pro battery from you guys Through [redacted] I got in contact with you guys and Newegg about the battery being the wrong size the battery you guys sent me was not the 2011 Macbook pro 15 inch battery it seem like a 13 inch so I sent the battery back and asked for a refund because the battery was way to small and the wrong one. I sent the battery back only to get a email from you guys claiming it was the wrong battery and that it wasn't the one you sent me. Which is impossible because thats the only battery I had. You guys claim the battery could have gotten mixed up how did the battery get mixed up when it was the only one I had not to mention it was way to small to fit in the macbook pro. This is the email you guys sent me

We received your return. However, the battery you returned is not our product. Could you please check your current battery? The batteries look very similar and it is easy to get mixed up. Our battery has a barcode starting with LP, and on top or at the bottom of the barcode has "[redacted]" on it.
