This matter has been resolved and my customer has the queen bed in their home along with a box spring provided for Free There was an error in the manufacturers catalog stating the bed did not require a box spring My customer gave theirs away to a friend before we found out about the typo in the catalog I offered them a queen box spring at no charge as a make good since they needed one for the bed they purchased after all THey were supposed to email you as well retracting the initial complaint they sentPlease advise that this has been doneThank you, [redacted]

Review: On 01/17/2015 We placed an order for a bed which includes the headboard, foot board, and sides. We were informed that said bed did NOT require a box spring. We had a box spring and mattress ready for the bed and ended up giving away the box spring. We were ensured that we did not need the box spring because the bed had a platform for the mattress. The bed would arrive at the store by mid-week.

On 01/21/2015 I called to inquire on the bed. I was informed that due to a "glitch" on their side, the bed was not ordered. They assured me the bed was just ordered and would arrive next week.

A few hours later I received a call from the salesperson informing me that they just found out I WILL require a box spring for the bed. I told him that it was unacceptable, and that I would need to consult my wife. My wife decided that we should cancel the order and look elsewhere. I called the salesperson back and was informed that we COULD NOT cancel because it was a "special" order???

The receipt does state that there is no cancellation. However, I did not make the mistake, they did. They informed me that there is NOTHING they or I can do.

Review: I ordered a bunk bed and two twin mattresses from discount bedding. The bunk was $199 and the mattresses were $99 each. On the same day (June 18), I found a bunk at a better price but wanted to look at it first before I could cancel my order. The person selling it was unable to show it to me until June 21st. I bought that bed and called Discount Bedding the morning of June 23rd to modify my order (cancel the bunk but I still wanted the mattresses). I was told by [redacted], the salesman, that they have no cancellation policy. Even though he had previously told me that they sell lots of these bunks, he is now telling me that he can't cancel the order and sell it to someone else. When I ordered the bed he never said no cancellations, never said all sales are final. Now I'm out the price of 2 beds while going through a divorce and trying to provide for my children.Desired Settlement: I want to cancel the sale of the bunk bed and get my $199 refunded to my debit card.
