Good Afternoon,*** *** placed an order with our company on 08/**/for a KWC Single-Hole, Single-Lever Kitchen Mixer w/Swivel Spout & Pull-Out Spray, this order was shipped on 08/**/and delivered on 08/**/*** *** first call in on 11/**/stating that the
faucet was received damaged and defective, she wanted to return it and did not want a replacementShe just wanted a full refund. We explained to her that there is a hour window to report all claims for damages and defective items and that there was a day periodShe was calling passed that given period and there was nothing we could doCustomer called back on 11/**/and spoke to one of the CSR who as a courtesy stated we would accept the return as she states it was damagedThe Faucet was returned to our location on 11/**/Upon inspection of the faucet customer returned to us a faucet that was well used rusted. We called and wrote to customer explaining that there was no way we shipped this faucet to her in this condition and we are denying this returnFaucet was return to customerI have attached photos of the faucet we received

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved I would like to note, however, that they were not completely forthcoming in their response I contacted them on 1/** when I still had not received the product despite placing the order on 1/* and paying for 2-day shipping They are the ones who told me that it would be at my house on 1/** Had it been, I would not have contacted the Revdex.com or my credit card/bank I did not receive the item until 1/and honestly I had been put off by them so much that I did not think I would get it at all I found that saying things to a customer like "Don't worry sweetie -- I've got your back -- I guarantee that it will be at your home tomorrow -- was condescending if you are not going to follow through 100% I will ensure that they are paid for the faucet head, minus the complete cost of shipping as they promised, and then I will never order from this company again They are all over the place

Our kitchen was being renovated and I had no opportunity to open the box until the sink was installedThe box was opened by the plumberI've attached a photo of the plumber showing me the faucet that he took out of the boxIt was well used. Yes, I called after the 30-period, BUT I was NOT told there was nothing that could be doneI was told on the first phone call that someone must have taken the used faucet that was sent from the wrong location and that I could return it and get a refund once they got the old faucet backSince I didn't want to pay the plumber for a second visit, I had him reinstall my old faucet, which he said was adequateI've attached a copy of his invoice Over the following month, I kept receiving emails saying that I was going to receive a new faucetI kept responding that I didn't need a new faucet, I just wanted my money backI was away for a month, and when I returned I found that they sent me back the used faucetWhen I called to find out why, I was accused of trying to cheat them by accepting a new faucet and returning a used oneHow would I have had the exact model to make the switch? I've been insulted and cheatedThis is completely unacceptable

Decor Island did not address the complaintThey told me on the phone that the faucet was made of metal, but it was plasticThey misrepresented the product.It was sent to meIt looked like metal in the packagingThe plumber installed it and then we discovered it was all plasticThe plumber threw out the packaging after installation.The unit is already broken and they are being unreasonableAll I ask is that Decor Island refund the money and pay us back for the $plumbing billThey lied about the product.Upon receiving the refund, I will send the product back to them.Thank you

Hello,*** ***, stated that she was replacing the KWC faucet that she had at her location with this faucetWe did not ship this faucet to her in this conditionThis was shipped Brand NewWe have a day return policyThis RGA was given to her days after she received it as a courtesy as defectiveBut upon receipt of faucet we saw that it was well use and return was deniedI apologize for the inconvenience but how do we know the faucets were not switched

We already issued her a credit for the 2nd customs and charge and she got her stuff

on 01/**/2017 it was explained to [redacted] that this sprayer take 7-10 business day for delivery as the manufacturer does not direct ship to customers. [redacted] stated that she paid for 2nd day Air Delivery. We stated that we will credit her the shipping charge and as a courtesy once the order arrives to our location we will over night it to her.We received [redacted] order on 01/**/2016 and it was received by her on 01/**/2016 Please let me know if any additional information is needed

Decor Island,over the phone, represented that the unit was made of metal. Now they are admitting that there are plastic parts. We would have never purchased a unit with plastic parts. They need to stop placing responsibility on the manufacturer and take a careful look at what their sales people are saying to customers on the phone. The unit is already broken because of plastic parts.This is not a Delta issue, it's faulty sales tactics! You can bet that they do not have a tape recording of the conversation.Why don't they make things right and replace and install our unit and this will all be over.Our next steps will be small claims court and reviews on [redacted] if this is not resolved.Thank you.

 FYI this situation is NOT resolved. The company lied to you by asserting that the part I ordered was a replacement. I needed a faucet for a kitchen I was renovating in a house that I'd just purchased. The faucet I received from Decor Island was well used. I ended up using the old faucet that was in the house. And your assertion that I didn't respond to your previous report is also incorrect. I phoned the number provided in the email and spoke to one of your representatives.  I did receive approval customer to return the faucet despite the fact that more than 30 days had elapsed. The company's claim now is that they won't refund my money because I was outside the 30-day period. The bottom line is that they sent me a used faucet (backed up by the plumber's invoice), approved the return, and they will not refund my $369. [redacted]

I received a phone call from Shelly, at 1243 **Jan2017, about my compliant.  I return the call. She was very nice, understanding, and apologetic. She stated she would have the faucet shipped out within 24 hours. I have not received a message about tracking information and as of 1353 **Jan20017, I have not received the faucet. I am responding within 6 days of notice and will update if I receive the faucet within the next 6 days.

Once again, we cannot any returns without it's original packaging.The product manufacture, Delta, does offer a lifetime product warranty as can be seen at; [redacted]Any product defect issues that are beyond our return policy should be directed to the Manufacture. FYI, the faucet itself is metal as you were told. No company would ever provide a refund in this situation. They are complaining about the Brand and the Brand quality; that is something that is not in our control.
