Worst service I have come across of any car rental companyeven with the confirmation email my reservation according to them was not confirmed and they refused to give me the vehicle despite they had cars available and I made a reservation days before I was about to pick upcpould not rely on DISCOUNT CAR RENTALSWastage of timei strongly suggest not to rent from them

Discount advertise that you can pick up your car at the Ottawa train station...no,when you arrive at the terminal, no car is their to be picked up. Instead, you place a call on their "machine", that is set up in the train terminal. They take your cellphone number, and say that a rep will call you back. Same individual calls you back on your cell, and tells you that no cars are available at the train station, but that someone from Discount will arrive shortly, and bring you to their office, where the rental will take place. How misleading is this. Then we drive for about 15 minutes to their office, and there we learn that there no cars available. The staff in the office were excellent - they evetually located a car for all four parties that were hoodwinked in the same way. To top it off, after about an hour and a half, we learned that we would have to return tthe vehicle to the same office, and would then be driven to the train station...all of this occurred with no more issues...but I sure hate feeling as if we were hoodwinked. Bad way to do business, and we certainly won't deal with this company again!!!
