Rubber bands !?
I just filled out my 2nd order with the company- I received my last order bundled by a rubber band - to me this is heresy to bind collectible comics with rubber bands so I made the simple request to PLEASE DO NOT USE RUBBER BANDS ON ANY OF MY ORDERS ! I received a message back from Yvonne in their customer service department saying that there was no way that they could honor my request! I’m blown away by this response & asked to speak with her supervisor & she refused to give me any other recourse. I said this was a deal breaker for me as I have seen comics damaged by rubber bands for years and I told her to cancel any of my orders if she can’t refrain from using rubber bands on my orders - she said that they would charge me a 25% restocking fee if I canceled!?!? I find it really hard to believe that a company that specializes in comics would ever use rubber bands to begin with & find it completely ridiculous to tell me as a customer that they couldn’t honor my request for them to not use them on my books! People do really want your collectible comics damaged by rubber bands ?! I don’t?! Heresy!
