First of all we would like to sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding or frustration we may have causedWe do our best to make sure the customer has a good buying experience at each of our locations and is treated well, but apparently we failed this timeThe item that the customer was
interested in is something that we call fixed item and is not actually suppose to be sold off the floor at any storeWe always try to have items in stock when ever possible, but this item is very popular, we were sold out, and we just can't get it fast enoughThe sales person made a mistake allowing the item to be sold off the floor in Federal WayIf we sell all the items off the floor we won't have anything to sell other customersWe take orders of items that are sold out, and reserve new product coming in for those customersWhen the item comes in, we notify the customer and set up a delivery or the customer can pick it up at the warehouseI understand this doesn't make up for the experience and again we apologize

The merchandise the customer has purchased and paid for is on it's way to discount direct, we have spoken with Miss ***, we have offered to let her reselect a new bed set and offered a discount on the reselection (as to which she has declined a new item with a discount), we have also offered
to send the chair to their home, they have opted to wait until the bed has arrived, we have spoken with Miss *** and have given her an arrival date of 6/11/for the bed and free delivery and assembly as soon as the new bed arrives

In regards to the dispute between Premier Services (delivery company), Discount Direct and [redacted], this complaint has been resolved through the customer and Premier Services.   The customer was given a settlement amount of $1229.71, attached, and signed an...

agreement with the delivery company that they are satisfied in full and no further action can be taken.  We have complied with what Miss [redacted] has asked and followed up with the delivery service.  We have changed delivery services going forward.

We as a company have sent out a technician to repair their recliner twice and covered the cost of the technician to come to their home to repair their recliner that is not covered under the manufacture warranty.  We are still working to take care of this customer, but due to the fact that it is...

not a manufactures defect, we will only replace to part that was broken due to being caught in the mechanism.  The manufacture does not cover this as it is part of maintenance not a defect.  We have communicated with this customer and sent out repair technician at our cost.  We have just received the part and will be scheduling a repair technician out again at our cost.

In response to complaint submitted on 5/28/15 ID 10642762, [redacted] purchased a known floor model of a sofa and love seat combo....

Once she took possession on delivery she was dissatisfied with a small imperfection off of the floor model. We tried to satisfy her, however; she wanted a 50% reduction from the agreed upon price. We fully refunded the money and picked up the dissatisfied sofa and love seat and considered the situation resolved.

During the conversation of the sale, there were no dates discussed for specific delivery as they do not do the scheduling at the store level.  And since the 48 hours had not been expired being the customer bought the merchandise on the 4th and "called in" on the 6th, our Customer Service Dept...

had not gotten to them to discuss scheduling.  It was a very busy holiday weekend and the customer was on the list to call within those 48 hours. We apologize greatly that at some point there was an apparent miscommunication. For this specific customer, we gave extra discounts as we are a company that strives to go over and beyond to provide the most elite customer service in our industry and to make the customer happy.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: Twice the technician came to our house he could not repair the recliner. He removed the transformer and cord. How will he replace them now? Customer service says this is not a manufacturer 's defect. I would like to know how the cord got mangled in the recliner. I would like the recliner replaced. Thank YouSincerely,[redacted]
