This complaint is invalid on its face. This customer has never contacted our office at or she would have been reminded of the two previous visits to complete free repairs to her fence from damage caused by her landscapers hitting her fence. In addition, we only warranty wood
for one year and her warranty expired nearly a year ago. If she would like us to complete a repair, she can schedule an appointment with our office at the main number identified previously and she will be charged the appropriate repair fee

The fence was installed per the property owners specific instructions on location and height. The property owner was repeatedly informed that a 7' high fence using hilty bolts into concrete would be at risk of loosening in high winds and with the high winds in her area over the last two years it shouldn't be a surprise that she needs to tighten the hilty bolts over time. In regards to settling of the posts due to water damage, it is the property owner's responsibility to maintain their property and we are not responsible for the lack of appropriate drainage - that has nothing to do with the workmanship warranty we provide. Both issues identified are caused by lack of properly maintaining the fence and property along with weather - an act of God we are not responsible for. Our warranty clearly states that wood is only warranted for workmanship for one year, we are not responsible for weather damage (considered an act of God) and that the property owner must maintain the fence and gate. If the consumer had notified us in writing before the end of her warranty period we would have responded to her directly. She failed to do so and now nearly two years later is filing a complaint with Revdex.com after more than months since the last communication. She also claims her landscaper didn't do the damage when she in fact said yes they did when we sent our employee out the first time. We are not going to perform work for this client on an expired warranty when she failed to notify us in writing of the problem during her warranty period as her warranty requires. The issue is closed unless she can produce a warranty document that shows her warranty is current and that we are responsible for acts of God and she has no responsibility to report this in writing or to maintain her property

The fence was completed on 21.AugWhen we had rain in late Sept-early Oct.2014, the post supporting the gate "settled" wedging the gate against the fence post causing increasing difficulty in opening and closing the gateAdditionally the north portion of the fence attached to concrete loosened and this portion rocked back and forthOn 09.OctI call the contractor, Larry B***, at 360-873-requesting repair to both problemsHe did not return my call and I continued to call at least more times before the contractor's helper came to tighten the bolts on the outside of the north portion of the fence on 17.OctHe said the contractor, Larry B***, would be coming out on 20.Octto reseat the gate post and reallign the gateThe contractor did not return or answer any of my calls in October, November or early DecemberMy last call was made on 03.DecThe contractor, Larry B***, never called me back or returned to my property to complete the repairsThe contractor, Larry B***, repeatedly said that the fence was guaranteed for five years, not one yearThe current problems are the gate and the portion of the north side fence that runs across concreteThe metal braces the contractor, Larry B***, used to support the fence along this area are loose or inadequate to support the fence, I don't know whichBoth of these problems are construction problems and have nothing to do with the woodThe post with the vertical split is supporting its portion of the fence and is not loose
The accusation that my lawn maintenance providers caused any damage to the fence is completely spurious
I had no hope or reason to believe that the contractor, Larry B***, would fulfill his guarantee after 03.DecTwo months ago my neighbors had problems with a contractor and they referred their problem to the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) for assistanceThe Revdex.com successfully mediated a positive outcome for them and they encouraged me to contact the Revdex.com regarding my fence problemI had been under the misconseption that the Revdex.com mediated only between customers and Revdex.com member companiesI would have contacted the Revdex.com in Decor Jan.15, had I known the Revdex.com would mediate between customers and non-member companies
