I have read the complaint from Mr*** and I have been in contact with him by phone. I have attempted to set up an appointment with Mr***, but was informed that they were going out of town and would contact me next weekWe repaired the home's foundation by lifting the
foundation. The weekend after completion, in Waco, TX, we received approximately inches of rain over a period of three days. Mr*** called and requested I come out on that Saturday, during the rain, and look at the what he considered to be a problem caused by my company. Many homes in the Waco area flooded that weekend. I was unable to go to Mr***'s home that Saturday. I recommended to Mr*** that he contact his insu*** company. In a conversation I had with Mr*** last week, I offered to pay $1,for the water proofing Mr*** had done, once the rain had stopped. His response was, he felt I was also responsible for carpeting that was in the sun room. Mr*** told me that the carpeting was quite old. I have been waiting for Mr*** to give me a call back. He said he would be back next weekI am making every effort to work out a solution that is fair and satisfactory to the clientThe main point I would like to make is: the sun room would have gotten wet regardless of any repairs or no repairs, due to the inches of rain that fell in such a short time.
