Review: I purchased a lighting fixture on a verbal unspecific lay-away agreement. I made $500 worth of payments in two months and lost my job so cannot finish the payments. Also the light fixture is for a new home and during the two months I was making the payments the decor in the room changed and the original fixture no longer will match the room. I offered the shop keeper many options including purchasing a different fixture for around $600 to which he has not responded. The store policy as stated on the receipt is all sales are final. This sale was never final as I never took possession of the fixture, and it remains as I found it hanging in his store. The return policy states full refund within 7 days of purchase. My purchase was never complete and the shop keeper says I have to complete the purchase ($1100 I don't have) then he will sell the fixture again a which time I can use a $1600 credit in his store. I would like to be given a store credit for the $500 I have paid.
