Hello *** ***, My name is Peter F* and I am the owner of Murphy's MaidsI am very sorry that *** *** was unhappy with our serviceWe do on an average of cleanings per month and do everything in our power to insure our customers satisfactionI believe we do a good job accommodating
our customers as we have been in business for + years and receive very few complaintsI did speak with *** *** as well as my office manager Olivia and the cleaning person DanielleWe try to be fair and listen to all sidesThe version I received from Danielle and Olivia was markedly different than the one I received from *** *** *** initially accused Danielle of stealing a antique broach and called Olivia to register a complaintOlivia instructed the customer to call the immediately call the PoliceI then called Danielle to discuss and she was very upset and confused as she explained to me that *** *** appeared very happy with the cleaning and made no mention of anything missingShe even went so far as to ask Daniele if she could have her come back in a few weeks time and clean againDanielle started to cry and insisted that she did everything asked of her at the customer's home and did not steal anythingWe then received a call back from the customer stating that they were mistaken and had found the broachAt that point they expressed their unhappiness with the cleaning job and accusedDanielle of breaking a drawer in the refrigeratorAt this point I spoke with *** *** and listened to her complaints and told her I would need to discuss with Danielle as she had made no mention of this priorDanielle stated that *** *** was with her virtually throughout the entire cleaning process and she didn't break anythingI then spoke with *** *** again and after listening to her complaints agreed to pay for now two refrigerator drawers that she said were broken tas her husband had found another one and that it would cost $to replace bothI told her I would send her a check for the drawers and I would refund her the cost of the cleaningFrankly after the theft accusation I had a hard time believing all of this but I wanted try to make the customer happy. I have never had a problem with Danielle and on the contrary almost all of here customers ask for to come backAfter all of this *** *** repeatedly called our office despite everyone involved being very courteous and accommodating and bending over backwards to rectify the situationIt is absurd that *** *** after all of her complaints and accusations then wanted us to send another cleanerWhy if all that they said happened really did, would that want to use the same service? I will certainly refund her cleaning fee and I will pay for the drawers despite my misgivings but we will not send another person back to her home

The customer returned approximately months later with his truck with regards to his transmission, which was repaired by usThe transmission was not working properlyI told the customer, he would have to leave the truck and it fell under
the obligations of the written warranty, we would repair the truck at no extra cost to himThe customer did not leave the truck and chose to leaveI contacted the customer later that week and asked him to bring back the truck so we could diagnose the issue at handThe customer informed me he was removing the transmission himselfHe was advised that the warranty would no longer be valid if anyone other than our business was to work on the transmissionI tried to rectify the problem with the customer numerous times with no success to resolve the issue

Hello, in regards to this costumers complaint, we do recognize there is a problem with the transmission and we will stand by our warranty but at the time of his complaint we were extremely busy and asked if he could bring it back in a week or...

two once we had a hoist available to make the repair. About two weeks later two other gentlemen show up with the vehicle saying they just bought this vehicle and asked us to fix the transmission under warranty, first our warranty is not transferable to a new owner of the vehicle but regardless the vehicle was now unfit to drive nothing to do with the transmission, It was leaking antifreeze extremely fast and one of the brake calipers was seized up so bad you could not drive the vehicle, it was extremely unsafe to drive. We then explained this to the new owner and told him we can not repair the transmission while it is unsafe to drive. Now the original owner is complaining we will not fix it under warranty, If the original owner were to get the vehicle in a safe manner to drive we are still willing to fix the transmission but we can not fix something we are unable to drive.

I have attached voice recordings of our conversation during my visit with the Cottman transmission , the vehecle passed inspection two weeks before the transmission was gone bad and I have a proof of receipts that the all the brakes pads and calliper are brand new , to begin with the warranty he gave me on the transmission was only for 20,000 km when every other transmission places including the Cottman transmission in [redacted] give a minimum of 50,000km . [redacted] , as you can hear this man [redacted] " the owner of Cottman transmission" on the voice recordings his first reason was :that the snow storm made him very busy he couldn't fix my car till the next week, second reason was : that his worker was sick , third reason was: that the hoist are occupied , fourth reason: my warranty is up " assumingly" his fifth reason: is that the vehecle is not safe , antifreeze is leaking, the only thing that was leaking was the transmission fluid , [redacted] . [redacted] the first time I went to fix my van he took me in instantly same day service but refuses to keep the warranty . I went back and forth to Cottman transmission for over three month until he descids that he couldn't fix it because it's not safe for him to drive it.

AS we said before if the original costumer fixes the antifreeze leak and the seized up brake so the vehicle can be driven we are more than happy to fix the transmission under warranty at no cost to the costumer. We will not refund any amount of money for the repairs we made. [redacted]

I am disputing the fact that I was overcharged for the cleaning service.  I’ve used their service off and on for 20 years.  I have received the refund for the service and broken drawers. I still feel that the company discriminated against me and that the willingly overcharged me.
