Discount Starter and Alternator

I bought a starter for one of my vehicles in October of 2019 from E-Auto Parts Wholesale (Discount Starter & Alternator) because the listing on eBay stated that it would fit my car. Easy day, right? Not really, as it turns out the listing was incorrect and the part did not fit my car. In fact, after emailing them my issue, they didn't even carry the starter that would fit my car. So with this information I deemed that a complete refund would be in order. Not so fast, since I purchased the part more than 30 days ago, I would not be refunded my money but instead receive in store credit. I was completed dumbfounded, since I purchased the part under false pretenses, I figured they would give me back my money. They didn't budge. I will never buy anything form them and I should've done some more research given they go by at least two different names around the internet and their approval rating hovers around 2.6. Lesson learned. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!

Starter failed within 30 days of installing. I have asked for a refund as it looks that these starters are not what was described in the ad.
I am requesting 44.00 dollars reimbursed for the defective starter. Seller wants me to have starter tested and is making it hard for me to return the starter. Seller is not making good on his return policy. This starter is a poor OEM replacement. Not a quality product.

The warranty covers factory defects and errors in workmanship and materials.
Damage caused by misuse, abuse, other faulty parts, or improper installation is NOT covered by this warranty.

Defective parts will be exchanged only for the duration of the original warranty period.

When exchanging a defective part, please click here to contact us to obtain an RMA (return merchandise authorization) first. Ship the package back to us by the courier of your choosing, writing the RMA number somewhere on the package. Once we have received the defective part, we will ship a replacement unit to you within one business day.
Return Policy
Any item can be returned within 30 business days of receipt, as long as the item(s) has never been installed and is returned in the original box. Such returns must be shipped back to Crank-n-Charge at the buyer's expense. All returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.

CNC Electrical refuses to honor warranty on faulty Car engine generator
I purchased a rebuilt *** Generator(GR16) for an air-cooled VW Type 1-3 engine. I purchased it April 24th 2017 for an engine I am building for a 1969 *** All major parts for the engine are new(Case and all internals, pistons, cylinders, heads and valves, etc.) I put the generator on the motor April 5th 2018 straight from the box it was shipped in. Engine started on first crank and in the first 5 minutes, smoke was coming from the generator. Engine was turned off. Generator was removed from engine and on inspection through the window in the body of the generator, one of the windings showed a burned/discoloration and smelled like an electrical fire. After contacting the manufacturer and sending pictures of the burned area, the manufacturer claims the generator was turning in the wrong direction. This is an impossible scenario as the VW crankshaft turns clockwise as does the Generator sent by CNC(This can be verified by the arrow stamped on the body of the generator). More than likely this generator was poorly assembled and contact of the windings to the body caused a short the instant the generator was spun up to running speed causing catastrophic failure. CNC has made no offer to inspect/disassemble the generator to diagnose the cause of failure, which I would expect to be the first course of action. They have made no request for return and inspection.
