I understand that one of your Sales Department Agent called, but when I filed the complaint I requested the contract to be cancelledI did not ask to some sort of "Arrangement" to be made. I don't feel the need to speak with your company or your associatesI tried that before and it was unsuccessful.My resolution was to cancel the contract and you guys are not assisting with the thatI will file a complaint with the Attorney General Office.Regards, ***

After several attempts, we were finally able to speak with the complainant and resolved his concerns. An agreement was sent to him for his signature. This is in response to your letter dated March 16, 2016, regarding the complaint launched by [redacted] presented to me back in April of 2016 with issues regarding a surgical scar and fatty deposits on her inner thighs. After a thorough consultation with me that went 42-minutes over time, she left the clinic fully informed. She initiated her treatments in October 2016. She had four sessions, about 4-weeks apart. She paid $[redacted] + HST at the end of each as is customary to pay for services rendered.
There is no package options offered for scar reduction as every scar is different and due to patient factors, every one responds differently. Therefore, not every scar will require the same number of treatments. It is simply physiology.
During [redacted]' fourth scar reduction session, she stated that she had decided to start the thigh treatments as well, as she was seeing results with the scar and was happy. I noticed a difference in her scar as well. I told her we would schedule those separately for her safety and benefits. She agreed.
Every session started with me asking for her feedback about the previous one. At no point did [redacted] voice any concerns regarding side effects or lack of effect of the treatment. She knew, as all my patients do, every treatment session would be modified, settings adjusted as per patient feedback. Results are all documented in [redacted]' chart along with before and after pictures of each session, taken with [redacted]' consent.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen and tragic family events that took place in February 2017, and after serious consideration, I had to close my facility to move to my home province. My former receptionist informed my patients about the closure while I was away.
Prior to this, we had started the fat reduction treatment. [redacted] had paid for a package of 6-sessions for the fat reduction for her thighs ($[redacted]+HST) as it is much cheaper to buy a package of 6 than pay $[redacted]+HST per session, again something that she was fully aware of and agreed to. We completed one of the 6 sessions prior to the closure.
When I realized that I had to close my clinic, I made sure that my patients were going to be looked after and not left high and dry. I personally made arrangements with the local dermatologist (only one in the city whose waiting list is now 4 years) to take over some of my cases. Out of professional courtesy, she accepted. [redacted] was one of those cases as I wanted her to be looked after by a professional whom I felt would carry on the scar reductions treatments in the safest and best manner. [redacted] refused the option to continue with the treatment with the dermatologist. She did not provide reasons for her decision.
Since no one in [redacted] carries the technology that I did, I could not offer [redacted] an alternative service provider for the fat reduction. Therefore, I provided [redacted] with a full refund of the fat reduction package of $[redacted]+HST ($[redacted]) in good faith. The refund included the one session I did provide (that would otherwise cost $[redacted]+HST).
[redacted] accepted the full refund. She was provided the refund by cheque. [redacted] received the cheque prior to opening a claim with Revdex.com.
In short, [redacted] is requesting a refund of $[redacted] for four sessions of scar reduction that were completed. This amount for services rendered will not be refunded. [redacted] has not been charged for any service that was not done.
The amount of $[redacted] for the fat reduction has already been refunded to [redacted], which included the session completed.
