and ensure the roadway is clear for traffic and safety If we are not given a location to tow it to we tow it to our yard. The basic towing fee for all police calls is $75, as I explained on the phone We charge $a day for storage Until a vehicle is cleared by insurance we do not allow anyone access to the vehicle This is standard practice in the tow truck industryIt is not our responsibility to ask for insurance or call them on your behalf When you spoke to the first person you lead them to believe you would be filing it with the insurance company. If you do not have insurance coverage, or your insurance company is not paying for the damages to your vehicle, it is your responsibility to cover both the towing and the storage fees, as I explained on the phone when you calledThe storage fee is charged to every single vehicle that enters our lot.
