Until this complaint was received we were never notified that the water was tested and what the results wereThe customer keeps telling us that they did not receive the water tests we sent out at no costWe have never stated that the system
needs to be professionally testedSince the system worked at installation, the solution is usually very simpleWe again ask that they send us their water test results before the water softener and after the water softener and we will be happy to assistAlso, provide us with what settings you programmed into the system at install so that we may verify your settingsWe can assure you that if there is a warranty defect in workmanship we will stand behind our productThe fact that the water softener did function at install indicates that there is a very simple solution and that a warranty issue is very unlikelyAs long as the customer is willing to troubleshoot along with customer support we will be happy to help

I was never informed that I needed to send Discount Water Softeners the test resultsWhen I received the test strips all that was included in the envelope were water test stripsI had to go online and research how to use themThe first test showed a hardness level between the and marksThe second test was inconclusive as it just turned whiteI then had a plumber come to the house to test the water and his test also concluded that the water in my house is at a hardness level of around The settings are on municipal, salt saver mode, and set at grains of hardness, nothing else was changed since initial setupIn addition, how am I supposed to test the water with and without the water softener? With the water softener installed I am not going to pay for a plumber to uninstall it just to run a simple second testI am more than willing to get on the phone and talk to someone at Discount Water Softeners, however it it IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of anyone! The test strips are now throw away in the trash as the results only last a few minutesI will let DWS respond and see when they will send someone out to uninstall the system and refund me my purchase price and installation costThank you

We will be happy to continue to assist you via emailOnce you involved the Revdex.com we require all communication be documented via emailWe will be happy to continue to assist you now that you have provided us with the test results we requested from you in the pastAs part of the initial troubleshooting suggestions we want to make sure that the initial setup was followed and that an extra gallons of water was manually added to the brine tank as described in the installation manualFeel free to add gallons of water to the brine tank and wait at least hours for the salt to dissolve then do a manual regenerationThat will provide you with soft waterAfter that you can check to see that the system is counting down gallons and initiating a 2nd regenerationAlso check to see that you did not accidentally program the system to vacation modeIf so, change it to vacation mode offAs for removing the system and refunding your moneyWe do not accepted used systems in returnWhat we do provide is troubleshooting assistance to get the system operating properly as we can only assume that is what you wanted in the first placeFinally, feel free to send any pictures so that we can verify all connections and installation regardless of who installed your systemWe are so glad we can assist
