When the customer came to the store to make the order I told the customer that you have to put 25% down of the total price which was...

$342 after taxes because of the restocking fee is 25% if the order gets cancelled. The customer agreed and put $100 down and the 25% of the final total was $85 about 10 days later the customer called to cancel the order and I reminded him about the 25% restocking fee and then after we ended the call the customers' father called to talk to me about cancelling the order and I explained to him the policy of cancelling the special order and he agreed and said "His mother will come pick up the $15 extra" The next day the mother came to the store and said "She doesn't agree on the 25% restocking fee" Even though the return policy printed and taped on the register which clearly says 25% restocking fee for cancelling any special order. So I clearly explained to the customers mother that this 25% goes to the warehouse so I cannot refund it and all I can refund is the $15 extra that your son paid.

The restocking fee was never explained to us when we put the $100.00down nor is it on my receipt. When I went into the store after complaining about the policy never being explained nor was it on my receipt he then put a sign on the register after the fact to cover himself and in turn scam the customer.

I am sorry but I won't be able to refund you the $100 because then that means I will be paying the 25% from my pocket and it is not my problem that the customer wanted to cancel the order because the customer already knew about the 25% before he even made the order and it is typed and printed for all my customers to see the return policy so I apologize for this, but I will not pay the 25% from my own pocket it is the customer's responsibility not mine and the customer already knew about the cancellation policy so again all I can offer for a refund is the $15 back when ever the customer is ready. and if there is a place for attaching a picture over here I would of took a picture of the return policy and uploaded it here it is very clear for all the customers to see and I tell all my customers about that policy when they place an order.
