Review: On April [redacted] I went into their establishment because I needed a charger for my camera. Upon entry I was immediately shown a Axer lens with a price tag on it of $999 but that he would sell it to me for $299 plus tax. The merchant even showed me a website where it was listed with that retail price. After coming home and viewing the photos taken with said lens I was terribly disappointed in the quality of image as it was really blurry off to the sides of the photos when blown up or printed. Upon further investigation I found out that Axer is a knock of re-brand of lenses that sell for about $20. I also found numerous complaints of the same thing happening with this product through out various locations including NYC. Please see the links below for further details. After calling the company to see if I could return the lens they told me "no-refund, only exchange" I then proceeded to tell them that they are scamming people and I don't trust them the person on the other line then all of a sudden claimed that they couldn't hear me that my line was breaking up and he couldn't hear me all of a sudden. [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for my purchase, I will be more than happy to send back the lens if they provide me with a return label and refund first. I don't trust that I will ever see my money again if I were to just send back the lens.

Review: The business advertises a entry level GOPRO HERO for $114. Upon enquiry we were told that no stock is available of this entry level model, but that the next model (GOPRO HERO 3 ) could be provided for the price of $199.00. We were explicitly told that we were purchasing a non entry level product. However, the product that was in fact provided to us was the entry level product which were told was not in stock. This product retails for $129.00 while the next model retails for $199.00 which is what we were charged and told we were purchasing. Upon discovering that we had been provided with the entry level model we returned to the business to bring this to their attention. We were again misled and given disinformation claiming that the difference was in the accessories included. However, this was untrue because there was no difference between the entry level product and the one we paid $199 for. The business was not interested in explaining why we had paid $199 for the exact same product as that which is displayed in the window for $114. We unfortunately purchased two of these which means that we were defrauded of $140.00. We are bringing this complaint because we believe that the City of New York should take action against a blatantly unethical business that probably defrauds trusting tourists like us every day. We would like to stress that this was not just a case of blatant overcharging but in fact what would constitute fraud in our country because of the blatant dishonesty that is involved. We clearly would like to pay the fair retail price for the product that was provided and would like the balance between the retail price and actual purchase price refunded because we were not provided with the GOPRO HERO 3 for which we were charged.Desired Settlement: We would like the difference between the entry level purchase price and the $ 199 paid back to us.
