Could've taken advantage of me but they didn't! They had my truck in and out of their shop in just day from when I first called them!

Review: I recently ordered a replacement fender for my Honda VTX motorcycle. I ordered a new, black rear fender, for which I was charged $1034.52,about the normal price. I received the fender, the box appeared to be in a bit of distress, so I opened the box, glanced at the fender, it appeared to have been repackaged, but looked ok. I delivered the fender, and other parts to the shop doing the work on the bike. I received a call from the shop telling me I should look at the fender, because, number one it looked like it had been repainted, and it had a chip out of the back end of it. There definitely was a spot on the fender by a bolt that had a bubble, the black paint in spots, once in the sun definitely had a red hint to it, and there was a chip out of the bottom back side of the fender. Once we looked closer, we pealed back a label that showed red paint. I contacted [redacted] at discount honda and he told me to ship it back to them, which I did for $175.00. He contacted me when they received the fender and told me "there is no way in hell this is the fender we shipped out to you"! [redacted] called me the next day and informed me that "I have two choices, you can either send me $125.00 and I will ship you back this fender, or I will scrap it if I don't hear from you by 4 o'clock today." I spoke with [redacted], he told me I had shipped them a different fender than what was shipped to me. I am not really sure why they think I would ship them back a fender, if the fender they shipped out was acceptable. Needless to say, I paid the 125 to get the fender back, before they scrapped it. The fender returned to me in the box, loose, and unsecured. Considering the fact this was covered by my insurance and I do not have the money to buy a brand new fender for 1100 dollars, I have advised the repair shop to repaint the fender and install it.Desired Settlement: I would like the three hundred dollars it cost me to ship the fender back and forth, and the cost of repainting the fender, three hundred and fifty dollars.
