As the compliance consultant for the dealership, I have discussed the complaint with Discover Auto Sales The dealership informed me that Ms***'s vehicle was purchased almost years ago in December of 2014; not in as stated by the complainant The dealership also informed me that they have been working with the customer in the meantime to determine if they can assist them with a resolution to their complaint Preliminary information shows there was no frame damage found when the dealership inspected the vehicle prior to the sale However, the Discover Auto Sales has set up an appointment for Monday, September to have the vehicle re-inspected by an independent third party The dealership would like to determine if the claims in the complaint can be validated, or if the customer's concerns are the result of problems that occurred after the vehicle purchaseWe will respond again to this complaint after the vehicle inspection has been completed and the findings are provided If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at ###-###-#### [redacted] B [redacted] , Compliance Consultant

As the compliance consultant for Discover Auto Sales, I am once again responding to this complaint on their behalf After MsW [redacted] filed the complaint with your office, it appears that she followed up by filing a complaint with the WI DOT Since the WI DOT is the regulatory agency over licensed WI dealerships, we were under the impression they would be looking into the matter for the customer and the complaint would be closed with your office Nevertheless, we were contacted by InvJim B [redacted] of the WI DOT regarding her complaint and provided him with copies of the documents related to the vehicle purchase We also informed him of the dealership's attempts to assist the customer As of today's date, there has been no action taken against Discover Auto Sales regarding the allegations made in the customer's complaint The dealership still maintains the position that the vehicle was properly disclosed to the customer, and believes their attempts to assist the customer after the vehicle purchase was reasonable It should also be noted that the customer received a warranty with her vehicle purchase, and did not make any claims regarding the problems alleged in her complaint.At this time, Discover Auto Sales is not prepared to issue any refund or offer any alternative assistance to the customer If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at (414) 788- Thank youRuben
