was assessed that a cleaning fee of $for oven and refrigerator cleaning
was neededThe Assistant did not see any Military Deployment orders in the
file at move out and hence charged a reletting (break lease) feeAs is Nolan
Real Estate policy all final account statements are sent directly to the
corporate office where collections proceedings take placeWhen ***
questioned the charges and provided a copy of his military orders the reletting
fee was reversed and as an act of good faith the cleaning fee was also
reversedThe only balance that remained was his final week water billHe
has since paid this water bill and now has a zero balance due with Discovery at
KingwoodThe Assistant Manager called and spoke with *** *** * Nolan
Real Estate’s Collection Agency) to confirm that the balance was never reported
to his credit and thus has not negatively impacted his credit score
***’s truck was indeed stolen while on the property and
we cooperated with law enforcement and released any information that was
requested from us
