I gave don Tait a deposit for a 2 car garage the place was closed because of a pandemic I needed to have the building done on a certain time frame so they couldn't comply so I asked for my deposit back he said the 1400 deposit was not returnable! we all lost our business to this pandemic so I don't think that this is good business he never informed us the place was closed! Before he took our business!

To add the fact the business where they build the 2 car garage closed on March 25! He took our business and cashed our check april6 knowing the company was already closed! It's fraudulent what he did!! Contract is in void! It's now may 7 so our garage didn't get built and he won't return our money!
Horrible service. First they got the wrong shed colors, they deliver a day late, the invoice numbers didn't match the estimate and neither want to provide with a corrected one. They also don't call back to my contact info. Very unorganized!
I entered into contract with Discovery Buildings Inc. They have not been able to keep their end of the bargain and they refuse to return my deposit.
Started in April buying a steel Building from Discovery Buildings Inc. Who turns out that gets them from ***. In N.C. Gave them a deposit aprox. $3,000.00 they sent set of plans that was incorrect, tried to fix it but didn't ended up sending another set of plans that where incorrect agin. we are into this for over a month now. I sent the necessary correction that where set by the City building dept. Well once again they sent incorrect plans, not only where they incorrect but the first set that was sent in the first place. Waisted 3 moths and no plans. We decided that this company is not worth dealing with, so we requested a refund base on the fact that they did not keep their end of the contract. They state that the deposit is none refundable and I argue that they are the ones that made all the mistakes and why should I pay for something that is not what we where sold. I feel we are been robed
I would like to get my deposit back, since they have not been able to provide me with what they advertise.

Today, 8-6-2019, Mr. Navarez spoke with his Discovery Buildings building representative Devon *** about
his concerns of his building ordered. Mr. Navarez said that he had just received revised building plans from Mr. which satisfied him, though he now had to take them to the building department of Palm Beach County for a permit to build.
Discovery Buildings has had a very good record in the past working Palm Beach County permitting its buildings, so a good result is expected.
Mr. has been in close touch with Mr. Navarez throughout the issues initially encountered and is working as always to uphold our commitment to excellent customer service here at Discovery Buildings.
So, at present, we have satisfied Mr. Navarez and will now wait for the Palm Beach Building Department to grant a permit and complete a successful building purchase.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Thank you for following up with my complaint.
As of now Discovery is keeping their end of the bargain, I can say that I will wait until a permit is in hand to say that everything went well. I will say that Mr. Devon has been very attentive of the problems and seems to be doing everything he can to get things corrected.

As shown in the following email from Discovery Buildings' customer Mr., a permit has been obtained for his custom building. The initial
issues he had concerned getting what he needed for
a permit. Now that he has it we hope all is resolved,
the new building is on its way.
