partial payment made in January after the account had been disconnected, but the payment was not enough to reconnect serviceThe final bill was left unpaid and was sent to a collection agency in March Once an account is disconnected for nonpayment and a final bill has been generated, the balance on the account plus all associated reconnect fees must be paid to reconnect the serviceWe encourage each member to call our office to discuss current or past due amounts and to explain all the options available to them, in addition to arranging a payment planIf an account is off for more than one month, but less than twelve months, the monthly facility charge must be paid for the number of months the service has been offIn regards to our deposit, we require a deposit equal to twice the highest usage at the location or $150.00, whichever is greaterA member can avoid paying a deposit if they choose to go with a voluntary prepay programThis is a daily billed option that allows the member to pay in smaller increments as they use electricity instead of paying a monthly bill after they have already consumed the electricityThe prepay program is voluntary and members may sign up for the program at any timeThey can also choose to be removed from the program at any time as well Chadd J*** Chief Executive Officer / General Manager

I was made aware of Mr*** complaint via Facebook messenger on Tuesday morning March 6th at which point I messaged him and told him I would check into the situation, I then spoke with Diane and Jayanna to get the details of the transactions that took place. As soon as we realized we
should not have charged him the fee for the stop payment, it was then removed from his account. A phone call by Diane to Mr*** was made to make sure he knew the charge had been removed along with an apology from her for the mistake that had been made. I do feel we have done what we can to correct the situation. I have addressed this with the front office staff and they are taking steps to make sure it does not happen again. We did not try to cash his check that had the stop payment attached to it, it was delivered to our lock box service and they sent it to us, per the procedure. It is very unfortunate that this happened and I do apologize for the mistake. Thank YouCarolyn K***
