Response from *** *** on 3/4/14:
After reviewing the response of the business, I still find that the safety rules of the bouncy blowups were not followed. In the business response, it stated this particular blowup had blowers and that only unplugged oneno matter how many blowers were attached, the safety of the children inside were not taken into consideration when she unplugged the one and the blowup started collapsing. Instructions on all blowups such as these clearly tells you NOT to unplug or deflat while it is being occupied. Whether or not instructions such as this was on the blowups, the safety of the individuals inside MUST be taken into consideration. That was my sole purpose of the complaint, the safety of the children, one being my one year old grandson who was being held by another young child;, and, the owner/employee of the business not having any concern whatsoever about the children's safety or the parents concerns when they tried to speak with her about this. Had the children's safety been taken into consideration, this complaint would not have been made. I do not know the business owners, but I did try to speak with her about our concerns and she wanted no part of talking with me or the other parents. Even if my grandson was not in the blowup, I would still be filing this complaint as to what I witnessed out of concern for the children

This letter is in response to the complaint about our business, ID#[redacted]. We have read the complaint and we offer this response.
The party of 2/8/2014 was scheduled for 2:00 to 4:00. This means the party is over at 4:00 pm. The party guests were informed at 4:00 that they needed to get...

their children and get ready to leave as we had another party coming in. At 4:10 they were asked again to leave. We began shutting down equipment and turning off games in an effort to get them out of the facility. All of the bounce houses except one were empty and deflated. At 4:15, there was one woman (or very large child) getting out of the bounce house and one child in her hands. She was passing the child to someone on the outside. This particular bounce is equipped with two blowers. At 4:20 one of the blowers was unplugged in an attempt to force the woman and child to get out of the bounce house. This reduces the airflow but it does not deflate the unit. The guests were notified 3 times to get out of the bounce house. The other two houses had been deflated and the other equipment was turned off. It was evident that the party was over and it was time for them to go. They were not in danger at any time. Security cameras in the area will verify my statement.
Safety is of utmost importance to us and we ask patrons to be respectful of our rules and regulations and the start and end times of parties. Patrons who do not abide by the rules will not be allowed to rent the facility. The rules are; no one over the age of 10 is allowed in the bounce houses, and parties last 2 hours, when the party host asks you to leave the area because the party is over, leave.
Regards,
