Review: I took my vehicle in to have my radio reinstalled and my brakes looked at. After the brake inspection I was told my vehicle was too dangerous to drive from the shop I was quoted 957.06 for 2 rotors and brake pads and 2 brake drums I agreed to that service . A few hours after I had left to go to work I recieved a call from Rob from car toyz he told me that they HAD to replace my brake lines and repack my wheel bearings because a brake drum was seized. I never authorized the extra work to be performed and now they are keeping my vehicle for non payment. And they are refusing to take any money or to make payment arrangements.Desired Settlement: I would like my vehicle back and make payment arrangements and I would like my bill adjusted back to $957.00 for the work that I authorized them to do.

[redacted] was well informed of the extra work that was needed to complete his brake job on Friday May 2nd, 2014, I spoke with him while he was working. When he came to pick up his vehicle he wanted to give us $800 in cash and a check for $428.42. I explained that we do not accept checks for payment, he said he would return with the full payment the next day. It is a good thing we did not accept his check because obviously the check would have bounced because he still does not have the money. I did not hear from [redacted] until Monday May 5th, 2014, when he went to the Pleasantville police department to try and employ them to negotiate a payment plan on his behalf. The Pleasantvile Police informed [redacted] that he would need to make payment in full in order to have his vehicle released. [redacted] then approached myself ( Rob Lancaster ) and asked for a payment plan again. I informed [redacted] that we did not finance mechanical work and that he would need to apply for a loan at a finance institution. I have tried to contact [redacted] today Tuesday May 7th, 2014 in order to try to resolve this matter. I have not received a call back. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

I am rejecting this response because: I was not trying to give them a personal check I was trying to give them the remaining money after my work check cleared I was over charged for the work and did not authorize the additional work I did recieve a phone call that they HAD to repack my wheel bearings and replace my brake lines indicating that the extra work was already performed my options werent explained to me I was not offered a courtesy vehicle I was put out for an entire week because the bussiness over charged me for the services performed not happy with the overall experience
