1. I do not want to set up...
One Year Warranty 7 months in advance due to knowledge that there will be other issues associated with settling of new home construction.
2. I am willing for Distinguished Design to install Chase in garage to avoid drywall bulging on the condition that job is overseen to its entirety with appropriate guidelines. My frustration with this is that I first mentioned it to superintendent Leroy on Aug 20th who looked at the drywall bulging out and stated "nothing can be done about it. It just does that."
3. I am not happy with the flooring as I have had 2 places that have already been repaired due to warping and there is crack in transitional piece from laminate to vinyl (this crack has been there since initially installed).
Exterior:
1-3. I have attached photos related to yard concerns. July 4th, came home to 2 gentlemen stating they worked for David Hazel dumping personal brush in my yard. I contacted David who denied responsiblity, told me if I wanted I could contact authorities. Later, I found out that these men were employees for David, and David stated he would have brush cleared (there are still remnants of brush in my yard). Aug 6th, came home to carpet shreads on entire driveway and part of yard, plastic wrapping, and Distinguished Design label, called David who stated "I never gave anyone permission to cut carpet on your driveway, so sure, call the police." I called greenville county sheriff office requesting deputy to come to my home. Morning of Aug 7th, Deputy arrived stating David is responsible and because these are subcontractors working for him, he was asked to clean up the carpet shreads, was told that trash blowing on my yard was unacceptable and not tolerated. On August 13, David Hazel contacted me by phone requesting to use my dirt to fix poor landscaping work on adjacent property in addition for permission to drive tresses that were lying in 1 adjacent property to carry through my backyard to other adjacent property thus leaving dump truck and other construction equipment tracks in my entire back yard. Upon this permission, David verbally agreed to grade and re-seed any portion of property disturbed. On Aug 23, employee came out hydroseeding adjacent property and portion of my yard that had not been properly graded or had silt fence put up and did not even re-seed portion disturbed post dirt removal). On Sept 10th, I was out in my yard after work and noticed several different track marks left from trucks and construction equipment and took pictures. On Sept 11th, I reported this to the greenville county Sheriff Dept in person. On Sept 18th, I received phone message from Tony, a superintendent for Distinguished Design stating that supplier had driven tractor through my yard and left ruts. Due to past issues and considering tracks left on Sept 10th, I was beyond frustrated. So I emailed Elizabeth relating my frustration to company and how I wanted to resolve issues. Elizabeth sent back reply that I was deeply turned off by so decided to contact Revdex.com to investigate and resolve my complaints. Because of my lack of trust for company to follow state, county guidelines, Best Management Practices and accept responsibility for damage done to my property, I chose to not respond to Elizabeth's e-mails, but rather inform county inspectors, DHEC, and other personel to address these ongoing concerns. On Sept 22, I had deputy come out to my home related to the property damage from construction equipment and the debris from adjacent construction site such as vinyl siding, roofing nails, plastic. On Sept 23rd, contacted deputy regarding trash blowing in to my yard from uncontained trash bin on other adjacent property. I would like yard graded, re-seeded according to Best Management Practices.
