When Ms [redacted] came into the shop she was complaining that her belt was squealing and vehicle had overheated Upon inspection we found that one of the heater hose tee's had been leaking on to the belt which explains why the belt was squealing I also told her that there were signs that the water pump was leaking but that I could not confirm or dismiss what we were seeing She told me that she thought that the water pump had already been done but was not sureI told her if it started leaking then she should take it back to the shop that had repaired it before so that they could warranty the repairs Multiple times during our interaction Ms [redacted] informed me that she did not have a lot of money and only wanted to repair what was brokenWe pride our selves on not selling something on a vehicle that we cannot confirm is badWhen she brought the vehicle back days later we rechecked the system and found that the water pump is indeed leaking I did call her and inform her of what we found, I estimated the repairs and recommended that we replace the thermostat because it is attached to the water pumpHer dad called me and informed me that he thought we should fix her car at no cost, I did offer a discount but he was not satisfied with what was offered and became very upset with me At no time did he ask for anything other than to repair at no cost to herThis is one of those cases that we do all we can to inform a customer but they are not going to be happy

After contacting Ms[redacted] I am aware of her concernsI have assured her that they would be resolved.? I have been in constant contact with the tire supplier and have also been checking? UPS tracking for the tire that was coming from Phoenix.? ? UPS website just tells us that the
tire is on the truck for delivery and has been since Monday the 16th.? Since the tire had not arrived I found another set of tires at a different wholesaler.? I then drove to that supplier in Grand Prairie and picked up the replacement tires.? the tires did cost more but I let Ms[redacted]? know that there will not be anymore expense to her.? The vehicle was brought in today, May 19th, to have the new? tires installed.? She arrived early this morning and needed it back by about noon.? Her vehicle was completed at she was called about 12:We cleaned the wheels, TPMS? system was reset, and I personally drove the vehicle to make sure there were no issues.? I did assure Ms[redacted] this is not how we do business and we look forward to serving her in the future.? As far as I know, she is satisfied with the way things turned out

the water pump was leaking but that I could not confirm or dismiss what we were seeing.  She told me that she thought that the water pump had already been done but was not sure. I told her if it started leaking then she should take it back to the shop that had repaired it before so that they could warranty the repairs.  Multiple times during our interaction Ms. [redacted] informed me that she did not have a lot of money and only wanted to repair what was broken. We pride our selves on not selling something on a vehicle that we cannot confirm is bad. When she brought the vehicle back 2 days later we rechecked the system and found that the water pump is indeed leaking.  I did call her and inform her of what we found, I estimated the repairs and recommended that we replace the thermostat because it is attached to the water pump. Her dad called me and informed me that he thought we should fix her car at no cost, I did offer a discount but he was not satisfied with what was offered and became very upset with me.  At no time did he ask for anything other than to repair at no cost to her. This is one of those cases that we do all we can to inform a customer but they are not going to be happy.
